I love this company. You can mod them, but, it’s the players that make the sound. I’m pretty sure Geddy Lee would sound like himself if this instrument was in his hands.😊
Hey! Done nicely👍🏾 but sure wanted check out the “Slappin’,..Thumpin’ tone as well!! 🤨🤔🫤🥹✨🎸Dig the “usual” Sunburst color but that Black one is appealing!😅😊🎉❤
I'd say the Bronco will be a little more comfortable as it's lighter and the neck feels nice but with only one pickup you might miss out on some options. I think they look cool and there's no nonsense with them and you can always use a nice preamp pedal for some new tones if you get bored
@@Rosborough thanks for the reply, I really like the look of this Harley Benton and for the tone I’m looking for (death from above 1979, Black Marble) it should be the best option but being a guitarist I think the bronco will be more comfortable and I really like the looks of the bronco
@@leofernandesphoto personally, I think the HB would dominate on a death from above type sound compared to the bronco but if you want to move around a bit with extra comfort the Bronco could be useful, it is shorter scale though which I wouldn't recommend but it is lighter and a little less of a leap from guitar and a little comfier
@@leofernandesphoto a longer scale will just have a lot more versatility in terms of tone compared to a short scale and a longer scale will hold lower tunings better. A short scale will be a little darker in tone. They can lack a little punch too....but in saying that you can tweak tone in pedals and if you're in standard or drop D the short scale will be fine (it's a little less hassle storing at home and packing in cars/vans too
@@Rosborough I don't own one yet ( highly tempted ) but various reviews I've seen, given the volume discrepancies between neck and bridge p/up, do flag this up as an issue
@@martinheath5947 I hear ya. Unless you were set on this style, I do think there are maybe some more versatile basses at this price range. The two pickups from this are very different for me, recording wise, I can see it being super useful and my environment is controlled, whereas live, I think I'd go for something a bit more of a Swiss army knife and a little more of an all rounder
Dare I say, tonally its like if a gibson bass and a p bass had a baby. I could see this easily holding its own for punk and rock music and maybe even some motown. A bass this proce has no business sounding so gnarly
Glad I came across this. Thank you so much
Ah thanks for the comment!
Mine was delivered yesterday. I'm blown away by the quality at this price!
Plus they look so cool!
Well to my ears . Nothing much wrong with that.. got 4 harley benton guitars . Great bang for buck 👏

Hi, could you please tell us where did you buy that cool transparent thumb rest? Thanks.
I'm nearly sure it was on Etsy, I did a search there and it doesn't seem to be up there anymore though
OK, thanks for your fast answer. Cheers.@@Rosborough
Nice review!!, i.m between this bass and the Squier Bronco (the new one with the new bridge), which one would you recomend???

@@Rosborough why you wouldn’t recommend a short scale bass? I also like the mustang sound but I can’t afford a mustang bass right now

Looks and sounds great, did yoy have any issues with the G string and E string being effectively quieter than the middle two strings?
Not on this one, are you finding it on yours? I can be pretty heavy handed when I play

So does it equate to a Squier version or less?
Thank of it towards the mid to higher end of squier. It feels like a 400 bass for 200
Love the accent bro 😀👍
Mine sounds better than some of my pricier basses
Amazing, a friend of mine bought this and it's his number 1 bass now!
