Dude. They are NOT 'light weight'. 900v4 is bigger and lighter. Wide footers can NOT go 1/2 size up. I am a 10 and got 10 based on Sam Dovoskys reviews, and they are huge. It was the only made NB I had to buy 3 sizes in to get my size! I also brought 990V4 in 2 sizes. 10 was OK, but I am trying 9.5 when it arrives tomorrow. What concerned me about this 991v2 is the forfoot sole wrinkled up immediately after a few squats of trying it on, and I am an average weight guy. Not sure how long it will remain boyant, especially given how thin it is in the forfoot. The 900v4 on th eother han dis built like a tank. Get that shoe it your right size and I feel from days gone by it and in purchasing shoes fromt he late 80's eary 90's it will last forever. The sole is also incredibly thick and the pattern well thought out - I think it could serve as a trail shoe/ track (hybrid) shoe. I noticed the v2 fitted like a soft sock, but not the V4. But I still feel the V4 will last longer. It just doesn't look as good as the v2. I prefer the small logo and the Made in England on the tounge. But I am willing to sacrifice this vanity show off for the build quality of the V4, personally.
I was basing this off my UK size which is different to US size. Also I have a smaller foot and initially didn’t think the weight was that bad as the fuelcell masks some of that due to its responsiveness after wearing them some more I agree with you they bottom out and feel a heavier on foot and the midsole becomes more dense. This is more a long term review after wearing them a bunch of times. The silhouette still looks great though but yep prefer the 990v4s. Sizing is always subjective.
