Wow, the ai in this is actually pretty cool, I liked seeing how in the second battle the HECU seemed to step their game up at times and looked to think a bit logically, like when one Marine tried charging those two Black Ops operatives but went back to the rest of his group after seeing that there is another alien problem still going on.

@@drsnakhenry653 the reason why Dr vrej's AI is better than valve's AI is obviously because of limitations valve had when developing half-life 1 plus this is source engine has a much better navigation system than goldsrc

I am a huge Half Life fan so this was already a treat! The Black Ops definitely had the biggest advantage out of all three factions with those snipers. They deal a lot of damage and can be shot at from a long distance, never really requiring them to get too close to any one enemy. Even though the Black Ops won the first round, it was massively impressive how the HECU took them down and still had a handful of Marines left. Their MP5 weapons were short to medium range and did not do as much damage aside from grenades. It just proves how good their training is or from a game mechanics perspective, how good their AI is. I’ll tell you what, the Combine Overwatch would get its ass handed to them by any of these guys. Trained killers, focused, and armed to the teeth. Oh and Race X would tear them apart 😄

Vehicle was actually getting electric damage by the railway tracks. You can see at the right bottom of the vehicle there was sparks by the electric damage right before it explodes.

This makes me realize that the marines are the unluckiest ones in the game. They get overwhelmed by xen creatures, security guards, black ops, and Gordon Freeman. The game sure hates HECU.

The Bradley being unable to finish off the Black Ops out in the open due to insufficient gun depression sure gave me War Thunder PTSD flashbacks.
Fun fact: the IFV and tank npcs dont have gun depression.
