Ethan literally yelled to Kimberly, "should we peel it and chop it up?", and she yelled back "Absolutely!", but blue team didn't listen, and red team... no one knows what they're doing 😂
They shouldn't have to rely on a question that was asked by another team across the room, if something needs to be done, she should instruct it and not assume people know what to do.
Steph's frustration in the cheesecake round was so funny to me. I dont know if its a UK thing, but in my experience, cheesecake is always non-bake unless they specify 'baked cheesecake'. At restsurants, home recipes etc, Cheesecake = non bake, Baked cheesecake = baked. Plus her frustration over no food processor, or stand mixer etc. I adore cheesecake and have it for every birthday, usually handmade, and ive never used them. You smash the biscuits in a bag with a rolling pin, and whip the cream with a whisk or fork
The salt crust thing is a method where you encase meat in salt and then bake it, helps absorbs flavour well and also the salt holds heat so helps it cook faster.
A celeriac is sometimes called a knob celery; it's just a type of celery with a nice bulb. And while Kimberly is American, she's been living in the UK for 13 years and is also apparently of English and Scottish descent.
Steph's growing frustration throughout the video leading into her outburst out cheesecake was amazing! I love hearing you guys talk about how the video relates to your lives
A lot of their references you dont get (like the Harry being a Karen, or the "me and my friend started a band" comment from Vik last video) because theyre from Moresidemen video's
For Stephanie’s confusion, Kimberly even though she’s American was saying British versions of things because she’s lived here for over 10 years now married with kids. Ashley from the PCD also has lived here for about 10 years too
Damn its always that one comment where that person knows their whole life story while new viewers don't. This goes to show you may have lots of people watching you but not everyone actually knows you.
Filet is French and is how u lot are used to saying it, even though a lot of English words are definitely French, us Brits say fillet as in a fillet of beef
59:15 I think she’s been in the U.K. a while she’s been on a lot of tv here, so has Ashley and Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls actually, I think they were bigger here than in America maybe
Celeriac is a root veg similar to rutabaga in size and texture and a similar taste to celery. Peeling the bottom part of the asparagus stalk makes it more tender but they normally only do it in restaurants
At least in Sweden and finland ( I would assume Europe at large tho) it is more common to have non-baked cheese cakes than baked, and at least in Sweden and Finland most ppl dislike a baked cheese cake
Regarding the cheesecake, here in New Zealand they’re all non bake unless it specifically says “baked cheesecake”. I make a lot of cheesecakes and they’re all non-bake. Do Americans usually have baked cheesecakes? That’s the only reason I can see why Steph had the (hilarious) reaction she did lol.
We must! I just googled fact checked myself haha and every recipe came back as requiring baking WITH eggs 😂😂 even the one on Philadelphia cream cheese’s website (our brand name cream cheese) requires baking. Such a bizarre difference!! I wonder if it’s because in America cheesecake is synonymous with New York style cheesecake.
Let’s answer some questions. So Kimberly is married to an English man and has lived here for years. Celeriac is the name of the vegetable and she did tell them to chop it
It is crazy how terrible all of them are in the kitchen with the exception of Ethan who is alright. I feel like anyone would be able to make the first dish if you just gave them the ingredients, it's a very simple one Edit: In Australia we don't do thanksgiving, but we only just started doing black friday. Don't even know what it is but everything goes on sale so I like it Edit: YES OF COURSE WE HAVE FAIRS ahahaha. Same thing you see goats, sheep, mermaids, cows, food, performances. IT'S VERY COMMON EVERYWHERE
I’d argue their ‘county fairs’ are equivalent to our markets but at the same time our markets range from simple ‘fair setups’ to full range festival with rides and shit
2:11:00 actually theyre not inconsistent they gave the omelette a 4 for how it looked they gave it an 8 for taste. This time it was cheesecake and if they asked for a cheese cake its not a slice so for LOOKS it should be a 4 like the omelette if it tasted good then it deserves a high score for that. But the look suffers when you dont make what they ask not the taste .
If the omelette looked good I'm pretty sure they would have still given it a 4 otherwise we wouldn't have a cook off everyone would have just said wtf.
I know this is months ago but thank god, You adressed that. They were being kind of harsh on Deji and Jj on this. it's not too seriously but It still annoyed me a little bit
Half a stick of butter is better then mash potato using so much butter... Try 5 potato 1or 2 shorts of milk and a big spoon of butter and salt (sometimes we use fat and a tipe of nut).. Try doing video's trying only european food.. Im from 🇸🇮 Slovenia..
The only thing I didn't like was the crazy inconsistent ratings they gave just to keep things tied up. Like with the egg, and Vik and Harry's cheescake
Can y’all do Sam and Colby 25x25 it’s about completing their worst fear and their is no scary or anything bad I hope y’all watch it because it’s amazing
0 means no presentation at all and they said at the end that 4 points for the taste of Harry and Vik's cheesecake is actually too good to give for them but it's just pity score
Please I do love your reactions to almost all your videos but at your comments on some things turn to be a bit negative. Your preference or way of doing something might be different to others. So in humbly tone don't make it sound or look like what's been presented is bad. Good vid tho.
@@MAT-wn5fr Thanks for your reply. But I was making the point based on the feedback given on the foods being presented. That's why it's called "reaction" so if you don't get something, just go with the flow that's all. I've been a big follower of the channel and its something I would humbly want them to work on it.
A chef here.. you haven't heard of so many vegetables.. you've only seen sticks of butter and just so you know. In France we pronounce it 'Fill-it' too like they do. What do they feed you over the pond?? Actually don't worry we've seen and also salt baking is a way to season your food while giving it a more depth of flavour like curing
i mean yes cooking isn't long but when you are under preassure and is on a timer than yha it can get kinda of crazy. I think what people should have done at least when they make video like these is teach people who at least don't know how to cook that way at least things goes smoothly. As i see lots of youtubers who don't know how to cook make cooking videos and it was to the point they just goofed off and order urber eats. Like cooking should be a key factor in our race if people don't know how to cook things would go wrong if urber and fast foods restaurants are no more.
Nah have Simon and Josh never watched a cooking show before?😂 Serving raw food is the most disrespectful thing you could do, u rather serve nothing better than a raw potato inside lol. JJ and Deji getting 8 was so funny lol ima make u an omelette right now and I'll get a 9 for sure. Also funny how 2 of the worst cooks in the Sidemen were the judges 👀
Ethan literally yelled to Kimberly, "should we peel it and chop it up?", and she yelled back "Absolutely!", but blue team didn't listen, and red team... no one knows what they're doing 😂
no one knows? But we know: omelette
They shouldn't have to rely on a question that was asked by another team across the room, if something needs to be done, she should instruct it and not assume people know what to do.
Yea she should've made it loud and clear that it needed to be chopped up
You and freya are the ones I love to rewatch the original video with 😂❤
Same😂
Same haha, every now and then I will watch someone called joenojoesph but Freya and Wes and Steph are the goats
@@lorcanzo2498 Joe does my head in lol 😂😂
For some reason the people I always come back to watch reactions of are couples ahaha. But I watch Freya's too
I watch Freya, Rose Rutland/ Rose Reacts, and Wes and Steph mainly
This is easily one of my favourite sidemen videos in a long time, the teams were chosen perfectly and the video was jokes 😂
Steph's frustration in the cheesecake round was so funny to me.

Yeah no our ancestors who invented cheesecake had simple ovens and hand tools. Though personally I always make a oven baked cheesecake
Kimberly has lived and worked in the UK for years, hence why she speaks properly and says fillet 😊😆
Was so excited for your reaction!
The salt crust thing is a method where you encase meat in salt and then bake it, helps absorbs flavour well and also the salt holds heat so helps it cook faster.
50:23 behz asks if the celeriac should be chopped, kimberly never actually said to chop it, she just answered behz question
A celeriac is sometimes called a knob celery; it's just a type of celery with a nice bulb.

I have noticed when it comes to cakes n stuff Steph starts to get triggered..it’s hilarious. Black Forest n now cheesecake 🤣
Hahah it’s true!! I’m passionate about cake I guess lol
@@wesandsteph6460 Hahah..I can relate lmao

Waited for this one. Glad you’re back for it
She did say to chop the celeriac, I missed it the first time but she did say it and it's in the video. Behz asks and she says yes
Ethan asked if it should be chopped up and she said yes but the other teams weren’t listening
Filet is French and is how u lot are used to saying it, even though a lot of English words are definitely French, us Brits say fillet as in a fillet of beef
5:03 Wesley sounding like he inhaled an entire helium can and got it lodged in his throat
Love your guys content and yes Kimberly did mention to Peel and chop the vegetable at 50:24 :)
every episode steph looks like doesnt wanna be interrupted by wes' jokes and conversations, literally cutting him off by playing the video again lol

I highly recommend you to start more sidemen content among us edition. So many Chaos, funny moments + some rages as well ?.
Celeriac is a root veg similar to rutabaga in size and texture and a similar taste to celery. Peeling the bottom part of the asparagus stalk makes it more tender but they normally only do it in restaurants
actually really funny hearing you guys keep saying celeria no matter how many times they say celeriac
Kimberly Wyatt has lived in the UK for 10+ years so that explains the weird mixed accent.
Was waiting for THISSS🔥
So happy you guys reacted to this one! Your reactions to Sidemen videoes are such pleasure to watch :D
They were using a vanilla paste (which we do have in the USA) and there is a such thing as no-bake cheese cake
At least in Sweden and finland ( I would assume Europe at large tho) it is more common to have non-baked cheese cakes than baked, and at least in Sweden and Finland most ppl dislike a baked cheese cake
I am hoping Stephanie will be providing us with her cooking knowledge & wisdom throughout the video 🤭
Haha my cooking guesses more like 😂😂
We need Gordon and Olatunji brothers collab in kitchen .Imagine JJ just shouting at Deji in front of Gordon 😂
Regarding the cheesecake, here in New Zealand they’re all non bake unless it specifically says “baked cheesecake”. I make a lot of cheesecakes and they’re all non-bake.

8:54 we have black Friday in Italy and all of Europe
But no thanksgiving
I need to see yall react to sidemen among us!!
Totally agree with you Wes about the first round. Outrageous 🤣

2:18:06 i've honestly never seen that version of cheesecake you're mentioning, maybe it's an american thing, ive only ever seen no bake ones.
This honestly is a banger video that i didnt expect 😂
What you have for thanksgiving we have every Sunday 😂😂
We have a fair, but I don't think it's the same. Our fairs are basically rides and stuff, but we don't take animals and stuff
50:00 she has lived in the UK for like the last decade plus with her husband and kids. So she uses a smash up of American and British terms.
I like how the video is a mix between reaction and cooking tips 😂
This has been the most I have ever laughed in a video that is two hours long. One of the best Sidemen Sundays ever in existence ❤
I'm with you guys, I've never seen anybody peel asparagus before ever and I've ate it 😂😂😂😂
Kimberly moved to the UK in 2010 thats why the accent is a bit more confusing
You guys should watch more sidemen UK vs US slang it's a really funny vid. Love the reactions 👍👍
To be fair when you eat the balls it will be all smooshed together in you're mouth.

Still waiting for the 10 year anniversary video reaction
