I, a widow, similarly lost my only child, my son, on Dec. 4, 2020. I just finished my morning’s bible study and was wondering what God might have for me today. This. Thank you.

@@naturalPaths Amen, praise the Lord. You're welcome. When I lost my mom many years ago to cancer, I became even more grateful for Jesus' sacrifice for us all and that if we remain faithful to Him and His calling, then we can truly cherish the blessed hope of being reunited with our loved ones who now sleep in the Lord, according to 1 Thess. 4:13-18.💕

Receiving a cancer diagnosis four years ago has taught me that even cancer doesn't have the final say over my life. God is still in control and my life is in His hands. Whether He miraculously heals me on this side of heaven, or He allows me to sleep in the grave until Resurrection Morning at Jesus' Second Coming, as long as I will spend eternity with Them, that's what matters most to me.💕✝️🛐🙏🏼🕊️

We should ALWAYS trust God, even in the midst of the storm. The Lord knows why He allows things to happen. After all is said and done, we can trust nobody else as we trust God. We must trust the Lord to the very end regardless of the outcome of any given situation!

@@BENJAMINJAMESSMITH2000 The question is not whether you must be water baptized to be saved? The question is why would you not want to be baptized once you accept and receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? We should follow the example of Christ and get baptized after we are saved, not before salvation. However, baptism, in and of itself, by itself, does not save you. The purpose of baptism is an outward profession (expression) to the world, and to the church, that you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. However, there may be circumstances where you may not be able to get baptized. (i.e. illnesses, terminal or not, or for some other unforseen reason, such as the thief on the cross, among many other valid reasons). Again, as we stated earlier, baptism, itself, does not save you anymore than having your name on the church rolls by itself. You must have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. Salvation is also called being born again. By all means, if you are saved and you have not been baptized, you should get baptized, if at all possible. The Bible does not say that you absolutely have to be water baptized to be saved, but you should be baptized after salvation, as we indicated above.

My husband died very suddenly on November 21, 2020, after 27 years of marriage. It’s been so so hard, and lonely. It’s still too fresh. I did go through a Grief Share class, and it’s very helpful. I learned that I wasn’t going crazy, the anger was normal, finally the anger is lessening. It’s very hard alone. But the Lord is with me, and I’ve come to know Him in a much deeper way. 💙🕊️💙

I’m so sorry for your loss. I know 2020 is still relatively recent. I’m so glad you found GriefShare. I found it very helpful following the loss of my husband, and again following the loss of our son. The single most helpful for me in this most recent cycle is a small ‘loss of child’ group. If you haven’t don’t GriefShare in a while, you might consider another cycle. The program has been ‘updated.’ The videos are similar, but shorter; the workbook is similar, but much easier (for me, anyway) to actually work. Also, there are now widow specific groups available. There were no ‘specifics to any category’ groups when I first attended in 2018. I really hope you’ll consider it. God continue to lift you up in your ongoing journey.

I lost my father November last year, then my best friend lost hers in March. Since then she’s completely unable to talk to me because she is so depressed and because I’m grieving as well she more or less has told me that she doesn’t want my help or friendship during her grieving because it triggers her. I’m at a loss as to what to do. I’m now grieving a friendship. Aren’t friendships about leaning on each other? Any advice?

I'm sorry for both losses. I lost my mother earlier this year, a few days before my birthday. Believe me, I learned the hard way how friends and even family can be... let's just say, of little to no use. It's hard, especially when you've always been there for people and when it's your turn to be in need, they are nowhere to be found. All I can say is find your comfort in Christ. Do not expect anything from your friend. If you're able to do anything kind for her (and she's accepting), do it. But don't push it and do not expect any return. That's just how it is. We cannot depend on people in this life. Not even those closest to us. We must depend on Christ, alone.

I’m late with a reply. Sorry for your loss ❤ I completely agree families and friends can disappoint!I lost my cousin this week and close friends can’t even check in ! I was close with God before but leaning on him has been comforting, quiet time with him you just feel his presence I always mediate on James and have a shift of peace, love and sound mind. No confusion with distant so called friends! You can still text your friend to check in ❤❤ This podcast was amazing advice

Although l know l know l should not be upset with the Lord and I’m my case l should probably be more upset with myself. My life has been ultimately changed. I feel as if I’m in a desolate place now without a moral compass.🙏🏽😪

W💥W! So thankful for these vlogs. It seems like my grief continues with loved ones dying every time I turn around. Since 2018 I keep losing more of those close to me. Must say though that recently going through terrible grief the Lord visited me. He helped me with my grief. If he hadn't I believe it would have transformed into something much worse. I felt my grief turning into poison. It was poisoning my spirit, my very soul. Unfortunately afterward another close relative passed away but the grief even though there is not the same as it was before thank GOD!!! Thanks for this blessed vlog Got Questions Ministry. In fact I have suffered a lot due to lose of three of my family membera/ loved ones with in two years; still in greaf and still additionally faced a broblem caused by false claimer to snatch what I have.
When it comes to death I don't afraid of it to die.
