    I shouldn't have watched this review, now I want this figma too! Lanze Reiter is amazing!
    About the words you were uncertain: the knife/kunai hilt can also be called grip. For the piece in the leg, it is a sheath. The difference between sheath and scabbard, essentially, is that sheath is malleable, usually made of leather, while scabbard has a wooden core and is rigid (like the Avalon, of Saber Altria)...
    Sorry for the "smart ass" talk, I'm a bit of a...let say, "sword nerd" (almost a weaboo, to be honest, 😹), so I can get really excited about the topic...

      I need to take notes here, I suck so bad at calling out such specific words.
      Sometimes my vocabulary is really lacking so thanks for letting me know.

    I love the Figma figures bassed on some concept arts! A lame that are quite expensive u.u

      True but considering that she is quite tall and comes with a lot of accessories it's somewhat understandable.

    A bit regret that when her first release I didn't pre-order cuz the paint is quite different from the official illustrations. It's been quite a long time since I bought the last figma cuz ya I agree many are sort of identical in terms of mechanisms, and it is a not a good trend that maxfactory chose to design the figures with lesser complexity compared to what they did in the past (what has amazed me in the past was the battle version of black lotus), but Falslander has brought back the great modelling standard! When I browse online I still find her shining points, so I still just ordered her recently at a slightly higher price but after watching your review I believe it's certainly worth it! Thanks a lot man!😄Hope we're able to see more amazing figures in the future, cheers

    What you were saying about the second figure, I really di wish these designs that aren't based on anything came with entirely different faces and hair. So if you did buy two, one could be armored, with the short pink hair, and the second could have no armor, a different face, with long blue hair or whatever. Essentially, turn one figure into two characters to give real incentive to buy two, or to be more options for someone buying one. Same thing for that Figma Styles line too.

    • @therealPayne
      @therealPayne  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm technically, figma figures are very swappable in general. So you could do that with any figure really. I could use the leftover legs from this figure for Jalter for example.

    I HAVE A FIX FOR THE BALL JOINT ISSUE. It's not the greatest method but
    what you can do is take a small piece of the plastic bag that the figure
    was wrapped in and cut a small portion of it off, enough to wrap the
    ball of the ball joint in the plastic and then carefully screw the waist
    into it. This helps bulk up the size of the ball and keep it held in
    the socket more firmly, however you have to take care that when posing
    her you have to rotate her waist very slowly, and as well also be
    slightly pushing in to prevent popping. Thanks for the review, glad to
    see I wasn't the only person who experienced issues with the ball joint
    at the waist. Mine too pops off way too easily, you'd think that after
    they made the prototype they would have rectified this because I'm sure
    the testers who played with the test figure would have experienced the
    same issue. I also don't like how the armor pieces on each side of her
    waist also are connected by ball joints.

    It seems that the painting quality of figma products (heavy duty girls) is not gorgeous. It seems that there are products made in China. It seems that the color of the setting picture and the product are too different.

    I do not 100% recommend this figma to anyone. Most of the parts: i.e. head bangs, buckle parts and the interior feel delicate and fragile. Right now, the ball joints at the body part ruined my experience with this figma. I 100% agree with Dendrobium's sentiment.
    To anyone who have bought it or planning to buy, BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN CHANGING PARTS especially the body connecting the upper and lower parts. Take note of requirements to contact support and check for defects as soon as you get this figma.

    • @therealPayne
      @therealPayne  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Weird, I did not have any issues handling her. I guess QC is vastly inconsistent on this one.

    • @chengyu7887
      @chengyu7887 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@therealPayne No doubt that's the problem and i became the unlucky person. There's no way i can contact AmiAmi support because i discovered the problem too late. All i can do is find a replacement for the ball joint (which is sold separately as Basic Joint Set (Black) and its sold out) or deal with the female part if the new joints do not work.

      This maybe a old comment but I notice that I was not the only one having problems with the ball joint between the upper and lower body connecting snuggly as mine kind of fell apart every time I try to pose her in a more dynamic action pose, Worst thing was I found out the main culprit much too late when I attempted to warm the ball joint and forcefully plug it together and lost the ball joint as in it went flying who knows where...
      Luckily I contacted Good Smile Company JP about this issue and they were kind enough to send me the replacement parts as in a whole new body minus the limbs and such as they are fine as they are. Mine was the first batch's on release date as this is my first time have this badly of a QC issue, Anyways I just wanted to share my experience with Lanze Reiter she is amazing and beautiful even as a figma from I do recommend her as long as you take notice of any QC contact Good Smile Company JP as Cheng Yu mention.
