Problem with Pakistan bowling is counter first 8 to 10 overs without losing, the bowling department comes under pressure. As far as batting is concern they lack technique.Most of the batsmen are base ball player's.

The team is a mess. When India plays bilateral series that don't matter as much as major tournaments, they experiment and put out new combinations. We're doing it in a major tournament - reserve bench ki tho baat hi nhi krni h humme tbh.

This is the difference between both team. PK team was in SL for the last 2 months.. They had already acclimatise the SL pitch.

It was an enthralling match which I watched till late night.Sri Lankans were under tremendous pressure to score 252 runs in 42 overs and to their credit they were scoring at 6 runs per over almost till the end .They panicked when they lost wickets in a heap.They had to score 6 runs in 2 balls and it was really magical to see 7 runs in 2 balls.Pakistan also played with great heart and really didnt deserve to lose .Super over would have been a fair result

Players are the brands if their franchise. Every franchise wants there players to be in front of millions of audience. No wonder the selection of the team and playing eleven are not to win a game but to ensure balanced representation is given to all three franchises. I am not surprised that individual ranking is more important than team's performance. It does not surprise me that these players do not leave any match against minnows to keep their records and maintain their product value. I am sorry to say but unless the hold of franchises is jot removed, only known permanent players of the three francise will be given priorty over first class and List-A performers. The only way for them to represent Pakistan is to first become a valuable player of one of three franchises.

As an Indian fan, really disappointed with Pakistan's performance. I had expected a blockbuster final between India and Pakistan after a long time.
Fielding worst by Pakistan, they just survived by some slack batting by SL to take in last over. Lacking a specialist spinner in a friendly condition in Sri Lanka was a big disadvantage.
