THE JOURNEY | WEEK 20 | PREPARING FOR SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY

Welcome to our new project, the COACHING JOURNEY #1. In this journey we will follow a coach who works in the Youth Development Phase at a professional football club, category 1 status.
Throughout the journey we will get the opportunity to see the following:
- Individual training plans focused around the individual player
- Full insight into a teams identity/game model
- Weekly plans and practices
- Match day preparation and reviews
We hope you are as excited as we are for this opportunity, please don't hesitate to ask questions but understood that the coach works for a professional football club and may have to keep certain things disclosed.

Would enjoy seeing six ways to switch play. Also please continue with the Coaching Journey. I know it’s the last thing y’all introduce but would also like to see a set piece/pre game session set up similar to how you set up attacking/defensive organization practices.

It’s a shame we aren’t heading abroad for pre-season but hopefully we will have a few tournaments to plan for which will be good to share how we prepare for tournament football. 👍
