I was researching this particular song, 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You'. Seeing that a Chinese group sang this song, I thought it would be interesting to hear. First, the English pronunciation is very good. Well done, ladies! I was surprised to hear each singer's voice is distinctly different from the other and each is special. I was especially impressed with Zhang B. Chen. She has a very nice rounded, full-bodied voice tone. And, I like the way she can "rip" into the lyrics. This was my first time hearing Zhang sing, so I did some research to see who she is. It was no surprise to me to learn that she was a 'Voice of China' Champion. Congratulations! --- Eric, USA.
@@fladude06 This was an ad hoc group that sang this song and a few others. They were from the Chinese show: 'The Voice' singing competition. The older lady singer with them, last one to join in, she was one of the judges. So, not an official ongoing group. This is reminiscent of the musical variety shows in the US back in the 60's.
Holy cow they did a really good job at pronouncing all the words. This has such a great vibe to it as well, the original is great but I have to say that I love this one more. They are just so harmonic and sound so good.
I have to wonder......when songwriters get done writing something like this.......so they ever think to themselves, 'this is gonna be huge.' After listening to it thousands of times back in the sixties, we knew it was great, but maybe attributed it to Frankie Valli's voice. 50 years later, we get these girls, SNSD, and god only knows how many other groups of people who can't speak english going nuts over this song. Incredible. Music really is the universal language.
