I am hard of hearing individual where both sides of subgroups will ‘pretended’ upon a hard of hearing person as neither deaf and hearing because it still requires both hearing and deaf people to ‘work’ together. Why ? As a hard of hearing person, my technology for a deaf person is still both deaf and hearing related to the ‘emergency phone lines’ that has become twisted and broken down. I did not realize that so many people will NOT recognize the tty as a telecommunications for the deaf (technologies of many products) and blocked my right as independent individual. I have had both subgroups of social norms for services/disservices who can be extremely ugly because the fight is over the ‘home systems’ and literally ‘double whammies’ just to use through people as ‘products’. Why would people are pretending that I myself have to forced as dependent as ‘hearing’ when the social norms within the society pretended that I don’t know English and should stay ‘stuck’ as ‘undeaf/uncitizen’ individual?? There’s fierce ‘competitors’ between the people of ASL between db/HoH/Deaf/hearing people as well as ‘challenging’ issues with speech and drama related to both hearing and deaf people. If you have the social norms of subgroups of speech, hearing and sighted with zero serious ‘losses’ related to physical issues, does anyone have to take up ‘speech’ classes ?? Then why pretend between one and two phones lines and products between individuals against assessabilities/devices/services/disservices/ gadgets (no fundings) or worse pretend that d/db individual should be an interpreter(s) with no interpreter(s)? We still need serious professionals who is and also an educational interpreter/teachers.

You are describing abusers, not hearing people. Deaf can be just as abusive as any hearing person.
