    You were very lucky with the weather I have to say. Our country Sweden is well known for "the four seasons". The weather in Sweden is so unstable. It can be sunny and warm and 6 7 hours later the weather can drastically change to rain or being cloudy and dark. So glad you found your love in Sweden mate! Make sure to visit Dalarna sometime. You will love it there! Orsa Björnpark is one of my favourite places to go during summer! You can see bears, wolves etc there! Me and my lady watched your vlogs and we both binge watched the vlogs on our 5th anniversary! Stay safe! ⚘️

      Oh thanks so much! That really means a lot! You’re definitely right about the weather 😂 the first two days before this it was raining the whole time! Glad it cleared up, we weren’t going to film this vlog but so glad we were able too. Dalarna is beautiful though we didn’t see too much. We stayed in Idre and went to the oldest tree in the world and largest free fall waterfall in Sweden. Such a beautiful area though definitely will be back to explore it more. Thank you both so much for watching, it means a lot! ❤️❤️

    Sad you missed the pearl of Vänern, the city Kristinehamn with its wonderful archipelago. Also worth mention, there are only one castle still existing and its outside Lidköping called Läckö slott (Castle) and then you have the place you visited in former county (Dalsland) which now is the same county as Läckö slott named Västra Götalandsregion (which Gothenburg is included) and last we have the county of Värmlands only remain of a castle/fortress which is in Kristinehamn on an island called Saxholmen.

    Sorry to say, how beautiful vänern is, and Sweden has many beautiful cities with long heritage.
    You MISSED the most beautiful place in the whole of Sweden, it's called Lysekil especially, I live in between two camping sites, the city, the atmosphere, the people it's just amazing! And I lived in many many cities.
    The next best things it's that only 40 kilometers from Lysekil is Smögen, Hunnebostrand and Kungshamn, they all combined it's the next best cities in the whole of Sweden.
    It's A MUST TO VISIT!
    just hook me up and I'll tell you all about it if your interested.

      Forgot to say, that in the summer we host the second largest classic car meet, with all from great renovated classic cars to youth with wrecked classic cars getting drunk to another level, but it's all civil and not much fuss or confrontation, it's a family time all day long, and it's called "cruising" in Lysekil. A total must see 🥰🥰🥰🥰

    1:00 I'm a 56 year old swede that never visited the "most common coffee shop in all of sweden". I hardly knew they existed actually. Sure, I love coffee and tårta (cake), but always visit a nice traditional local konditori. Fail to see the point with those big chains.

    • @LocationUnlocked
      @LocationUnlocked  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Being from Melbourne where Starbucks gets absolutely no love and we always drink from local cafe's (they are way better), I couldn't agree more with you. If we want a nice hot coffee, we will always go to a small local cafe. With that being said, If I want an Ice Coffee, I have found that Espresso House does a really good job and is consistent. I am surprised you hardly knew they existed. There are more than 170 shops across Sweden! Thanks for watching , enjoy your day! - Will

      @herrbonk3635 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LocationUnlocked Don't want to sound too arrogant, but that's probably because I hate chains, especially with international sounding names. So I probably supressed it, more or less, looked the other way. And they didn't exist in the 1970s, 80s, 90s, when I was young... :) (I also ignored "mcdonalds", "pizza hut", "spinning", "halloween", "black friday", "paddle", and similar cultural imperalist or globalist stuff I can't really relate to.)
      A konditori can be described as a combined (sugar-) bakery and "fancy" café. I belive we got the tradition from Wien (or Vienna) in the late 1700s. Do you have that culture in Australia? If so, I would love to pay a visit. (At least if Covid disappears in my lifetime.)
