- പപ്പായയുടെ കൂടെ ഒരു ദിവസം. രാവിലെ വെറുതേ മുറ്റത്തേക്കിറങ്ങിയതാ. അപ്പോൾ ദാ മുന്നിൽ കായ്ച്ചു നിൽക്കുന്നു പപ്പായ മരം. ഇന്നത്തെ ചോറിന്റെ വിഭവങ്ങളെ പറ്റി പിന്നെ കൂടുതൽ ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നില്ല. പെട്ടെന്നു തന്നെ മനസ്സിൽ തെളിഞ്ഞു വന്നത് തോരനും പച്ചടിയും അച്ചാറുമാണ്. ഒട്ടും വൈകിച്ചില്ല, അച്ചനോട് പറഞ്ഞ് പപ്പായ പറിപ്പിച്ചു. പപ്പായത്തോരനും പപ്പായ പച്ചടിയും പപ്പായക്കറിയും. ഇതിൽ ഏതാ നന്നായതെന്നു ചോദിച്ചാൽ? അതു നിങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി രുചിച്ചു നോക്കിയിട്ടു തന്നെ പറ...😀
എന്തായാലും ഈ പപ്പായ ഒരു 'സകലകലാവല്ലഭൻ' തന്നെ
Papaya is a delicious fruit and it is healthy too. Raw papaya can act in multiple roles😀. When I simply walked around the garden, papaya tree attracted me since it was having lots of papayas, one of my favorites. Then I planned to make three delicious items from papaya- Thoran, curry and pachadi. All these are very tasty and at the same time very easy to prepare. My today’s lunch was enriched with these three main items.. You also can try these simple dishes.. Have a healthy day….
I am Namitha. I born and bought up in a small village in Kerala. I am a food lover like my father. I also love to do farming , Crafting and I get the base knowledge from my father. I used to stay in city also, but where ever I go, always try to maintain tradition and passion as much I can.
I always try to make things different , so I started gardening, ornament making etc.
Whenever came to hometown I spend most of the time in our families "Tharavadu" where I get several knowledge's and ancient utilities and many more. simply sitting on verandah while raining will give some special nostalgic feeling. Food is always a precious thing which makes us happy throughout the day. Rasakkoottu is started with my interest in cooking. Through my videos, my intention is to recreate old lifestyle and cooking techniques and visualize those memories to the new generation when ever I am at my home town. I also would like to picturize current food cooking styles in possible traditional way when ever I stay in city. I always like to explore more on traditional cooking within and outside Kerala too. I personally like to prepare the foods by my self and enjoy to serve it to family. There are lots of back end support from all family members even though they are not ready to come in front of camera. Special thanks to them too.

Great to see there is no onion & garlic is used in your food. It is not like that I don't eat onion & garlic, in Bengal if our food is vegetarian that should not have onion. In Kerala the usage of onion is too much. I found this kind of food cooked in a stone & earthen vassel in Kalari Kovilagam, Ayurveda therapy place in Palakad. Thank you to enrich a Bengali kitchen.
