SO WE ARE GIVEN TAIWANIESE COMPANIES BILLIONS AND OTHER AMERICAN COMPANIES BILLIONS SO AMERICAN COMPANIES CAN COMPETE WITH KOREAN AND TAIWANES COMPANIES?? THIS IS NUTS

Well, you only know a bit why this happened. As Korean this is really a big problem. There's nothing to be happy about as Korean. Usa is giving money to anyone that has ability to build fap in their countries to gain its ability to produce high performance chips in their country to compete with china. But this has big downside for Korea and Taiwan. They are giving money and looks like they are benefiting other country companies but they also force them to act as they order to do. In the past Japan did not follow USA's order and look what happened. That literally started Lost decades in Japan preventing them literally to be rich.

Why compete with a company from a country that are friends of America?

@@NylonMusk125 Poor you. America will win the future. Your profitable chip industry would decline as America ramp up domestic industry and would really make you uncompetitive. But I do hope most Koreans don't know about this or else they would boycott American products. :) You Asians are just really gullible people. Keep buying those American products in the future boy or else we would put sanctions on your small Asian country.

@@motizuki1275 Bro this is not competing… This is called gentle blackmail. Yes they do pay allot for this but hey… For us there is no big benefit to build faps in USA. Higher labor cost, losing opportunity to work for Samsung(for Koreans), and lastly, being forced to make chips in USA and eventually rising cost of manufacturing due to high labor cost and higher material costs and so on. Well if samsung really needed to build one for themselves, they would make entire fap almost autonomous to lower the cost since cost-effectiveness is always important on these chips. For ai, if “a” chip can do a work of 1 and costs 2 and chip “b”could do the same but with lower price, why would anyone even want to buy chip “a”? But as you know, Biden wants Samsung to hire tones of Americans just to get more votes and really forcing Samsung to do so. And this blackmail goes on. I know USA will force companies to use made in USA chips even if they are worse on cost-effectiveness, and I believe this kind of stuff is the worst thing. It will eventually make everything expensive and worse on performance in every industry using high-end chips that is being forced to be alliance with USA, losing global competitiveness and losing customers.

The ban on semiconductor exports to China 🇨🇳 is one of the most important policy moves of *the century.*
    - The Chinese regime is still trying to figure out *what hit them.*
