This is the most impressive monster I've seen from Ray Harryhausen. To animate all those heads simoltaniously along with two tails on your own for four and a half months. An absolute masterpiece and definatly my favourite monster from Mr Harryhausen.
Todd Armstrong is perfect! Dashing and heroic, he is the ideal choice. But what I didn’t know was that he and his costar Nancy Kovack, both American, were dubbed by other actors Tim Turner and even Haddon because their accents jarred with a mainly British cast. Crazy! Did you know that?
