Happy New Year, everyone!! Here's the first video of the year, and it nearly didn't happen! Adam's cello had an accident and needed to go to the shop immediately. Luckily he got one on loan, but in addition to the fact that every cello is quite different than any other, it is not nearly as nice as his usual...We definitely can hear the difference (can anyone else?), but his cello might be in the shop for a few weeks! We just couldn't wait that long! Side note, we'll be posting all kinds of updates in the communtiy tab as well (stay tuned for some hidden videos on the feed!).
Wow! You guys are amazing! I'm in orchestra at my high school and I've never heard anybody there play anything close to as beautiful and as well as you guys do! If you guys take requests, maybe you could look into a song called maiden voyage from sea of thieves, I thinks its really cool and that you guys would play it phenomenally! Good luck on the rest of your guy's videos!

I hear the difference. This one sounds shriller and newer like the instrument hasn’t been “broken in” for lack of a better term.

Yes, definitely shrill! Thankfully this piece didn't have any particularly loud sections, because the cello can't handle much! 😬
