LOL!!! I was at this one.....soaked to the bone all day. It was like you were in a cloud, water just everywhere. Still a good time and Jaguar absolutely screamed!!! Don't think I ever missed a GTP race there, my home track..
Having actually raced there in a very fast race car, I can say that you need a _lot_ of confidence in your car's handling to do anything useful at Mid-Ohio. It's slower but even trickier than Road Atlanta. Hell of a track.
Next to the original Trans-Am and Can-Am series, IMSA Camel GTP was my favorite racing series.

I was there and my cat got stuck in the mud. I was parked in the lot behind the paddock.
83 and 84 @ Lime Rock was wet half the race too.
