@@dpolenz79 you can use your currency on the name of the boxes, if it's not corrupted. So you can just alch then chaos spam, or make it blue and then roll it with the bubblegums
Abyss start is pretty "op" but it's not the only strat. I don't like waiting for abysses to open so I only run mechanics that don't make me stop and think/wait. I end up running more maps/hour but div/h is very similar to abyss strat and it's way more fun for me. Im kinda glad everyone is using abyss strat and not looking for anything else coz I can get my setup running super cheap. Also lab is super OPPPP this league. I'm glad not a lot of people like to run labs coz it's my favourite content and it's fucking CRACKED this league. If you have a good lab runner 60div/h minimum.
im gonna guess you didnt mention (like everyone else this league) that, comparatively, the wisps contribute like 99% to the drops this league and if u don't get 3k of every wisp you might as well just exit the map.
I think I mentioned it... will check the video and add a correction if not. I'm running the map even if the wisps are on low numbers. After uploading this video I got an Apothecary card with like 1k wisps overall :D But I guess it was just because of the Crimson Temple runs. I don't think you need that many wisps. Usually I get overall nice loot with lower wisps. Even in this video 5 raw divs and a lot of other currency dropped from much lower numbers than what you suggested. But if you already have a ton of currency and in a hurry for optimized runs, I can see why people would just leave the map under an overall 4-5k.
Once every ~15 maps I got a big explosion that worths a ton. Like 16 winged scarbs and 50 gilded, or a shitton of currency worth 5-20 divs. 5-6 out of 10 maps is something like the video. The other 4-5 out of that 10 is "meh..." The most important thing here is the high amount of wisps.

Ahoy, there is an option in game under the UI tab: "Centred UI". It only works if you have a wider aspect ratio. Either by having an ultrawide monitor, or what I do: I have a standard 2k 16:9 monitor and I play POE in windowed mode. You can just make the whole window narrower by pulling the top and/or bottom. And magically you see much more of the game.
For some reason you do it on red maps, while T7 maps guarantee abysses ALWAYS end up with a spire, because they can't have depths yet. That's why people do it on T7 cemetery
@@sh3940 IF IT CAN HANDLE IT. That's the issue. TS needs mirror bow and hh to grind T16 with 8k wisps. At which point why youre even still farming MF. I went with fulcrum chief that can do it on 90 div budget. Once done ill make some silly fun offmeta build.

hi Mefi I've been following your build on COC before you uploaded a guide through your profile since I wanted to try soulrend of spiral, my character profile is Blizzero if you wanna take a look on how i'm doing so far, but I'm enjoying it a lot. been farming some simulacrum and T16 burial chambers, I see you are now using ice spear of splitting instead. is that stronger for maps you think? i have a 21/20 one which I corrupted myself.
Ahoy, Not the ice spear of splitting, just the regular ice spear, and only for this farming. Soulrend of the Spiral is overall better for mapping I think, and the ebst for Simulacrum. However in this farming on t16s some rares have such a ridicilous high amount of HP that it feels like a 40 man wow raid. The regular Ice Spear is better at quickly dispatching good single target Damage, I get the high amount of hits earlier for better ES gain, AND it is easier to control so I don't kill the Spire too early. I want to get all the rares from it before it dies. So it's not "better" just better doing this. I'd swap back for Soulrend for regular mapping and / or Simulacrum.

4:20 if you followed the atlas passive tree given in the link, you only have 4 Gateways selected. How do you get the "Abyss" craft in the mapping device?
You should have all the gateways. I'll check id the link is incorrect or not later. You will only get the Abyss option if you have allocates all of them in this league.
I have now an RTX 4090, a core i9-13900k, 32GB of very fast ram, very fast SSDS, good cooling, everything. I'm on max settings I think with Directx 12.
Everything is the same. In the build guide I mentioned that all you need is: Swap the amu (for the other annointment - 2 piercing) swap ice spear instead of soulrend, and crit dmg instead of gmp I only use Ice Spear for bossing and this content. Ice Spear is better against single target: better dps, ES gains kicks in faster. Most importantly Ice Spear is easier to control so I dont kill the Spire too fast accidentally
I really don't know how to feel about this league. On one hand, I never got this rich so quickly and was able to get to T16 in a jiffy, I like the league mechanic itself, I am beyond excited to try different transfigured gems. On the other hand, having access to so much sort of break the motivation to grind for gear and also, within 2 weeks, I had over 50 PC freeze/crash that required a reboot, not just the game, my whole rig just froze (I bought it in february and it is a pretty good PC)... Hopefully the game gets more stable otherwise I will limit myself to wait for poe2. A damn shame given how excited this league got me really. Thanks for the video, cheers!
I also had a ton of crashes on the first 7-10 days. Since then, none. Hopefully they will patch out the rest of the issues too. I'm overall happy with the league. The last 3 leagues just got better and better. I wasn't playing this much poe since Breach league. And the trans gems... yes, soooo much to try out! I'm theoricrafting all day :D Started 3 builds simultaneously after this Energy Blade coc one.
Yeah I just started 2 days ago and my laptop died twice so far, but I plan to upgrade ram and new drive and open back for better air flow lol. Edit: I also lowered Res from 4k to 1440p but enabled Nvidia upscaling and it improved performance.
Yeah, I've got an absolute HOSS of a machine and even moderate juice will cause it to choke down to a blurry fuzz and sometimes just hang the entire comp. Running blight maps is just plain risky as a result, and I've got a stash full of them. :/
Abyss + expedition + legion + delirium is what I do with my group. We usually 2 man cause 3 or 4 and it gets hard to clear. But it’s been raining loot. It’s madness.

I did not understand the part where you said talking about adding reliquary scarabs and the conversion mechanism to currencies.. What is that? and how does it work? Ain't adding reliquary scarabs to maps give more unique item loot? I'm confused
There are mods that can be rolled on rare monsters that convert every loot the monster would drop into scarabs or currency (or maps). You can't have this guaranteed, it is random. What you can do is to have as many rare monsters as possible in your maps. By using this Abyss multiproj, getting Harbingers, Breaches, any other mod that would influence this. You can also influence the amount of these drops (if happens) by getting as much increased quantity as possible. From the atlas tree, from scarabs, sextants, altars.
I like the video and kind of a "new" way of farming with idea of multiple proj and Abyss. Will try on my build. But. What i recognised - is that most of time you have 60 fps. Can i ask your PC settings?) Like Video Card, RAM, and CPU? I have 16GB, RTX 3070 and AMD Ryzen 5 2600. I guess my problem in weak CPU? Problem is that FPS hardly decrease in a big rooms with tonns of skills.

Hi, First of all, welcome to POE! I hope you will enjoy this game. When you check out your Atlas (by default by pressing G in-game) and hover over to the stone slots at the bottom, the game tells you. You have to kill certain bosses. When you are progressing to higher and higher maps (unlock the map passives in the Atlas Tree, like "Shaping the Skies" or "Shaping the Mountains" ) you will unlock options on the map device, red altars, blue altars and the maven. By hovering them over in the map device the game also tells you what should you do. (like kill x amouint of bosses on maps in tiers12+) By the end of those questliness you will eventually unlock 2 voidstones, then the 3rd one for Maven. The Uber Elder is a bit more complecated, but by the time you have 3 stones you will understtand the 4th one a bit easier. You can also check out the poewiki: www.poewiki.net/wiki/Voidstone For the 4 extra slots in the map device you will have to do a 4-way Legion encounter. But also don't worry about that at this point. Progress with your maps and you will eventually get the stones and understand much-much mroe about this (very complex) game. ALso if you are new, don't stress too much about the "best strategies to earn currency". just play the game with whatever content you enjoy, and then alter you can refine how you play it. Most importantly, have fun and take your time. I'm at almost 4000 hours of gametime and I still elarn new things.

The same answer. Caustic arrow and / or poison is great even with low lvl of gear. For leaguestart I did a Toxic Rain Pathfinder. Search youtube for POB examples. There are many leaguestarter video guides with that build. Tornado shot is more like a late-game swap / upgrade. It's also great for poison Magicfind. I have a build like that. I change them from time to time. The Gilded abyss is a must have, the rest can be lower tier. I always use the scarabs for more unique items. The other two is... div cards if the map has a good div card there or harbinger or breach usually. For sextants i dont use any expenive ones. Nowadays if I do this strat I use the exyra 25% magic pack size, and the others kinda random. If i have a good deli orb like skittering then the one that doubles the progress of deli rewards for example.
@@mefi_ i think... Sextants like monster healing, strongboxes, abyss, magic pack size or even more rare monsters are a good combo... Also gambling deli orbs with harvest currency could be fine
Hi, no, not at all. I have 0, ZERO mf on my gear. The increased quality and quality is coming from the map mods, the wisps (this is the biggest), and the red/blue altars. Scarabs, sextants also helps, cuz you want a lot of rare mobs and you want them to drop a lot of uniques. And then just pray for the loot-conversion mods to appear on them.
welll.... :D RTX 4090, core i9 13900k, 32 GB fast ram, very fast SSDs... this PC was a fortune. I also bought ot in the middle of the shortages so with a lil-bit of extra-money :'( But it was worth it. Gaming is my main hobby and I upgraded from a GTX 970 and from a i7 3770k with 8 gigs of ram. The upgrade was soo big that I can't even compare the 2 setup.

no. they said ints NOT intended in private leagues that they can spent money to get +2 proj EVERYWHERE, so basicly a free mod on maps. That would make it pay2win. paying for a private league, just slapping +2 proj onto that and farming t7 maps until you get multiple mirrors and hh/mb just to transfer onto the main league and dump it all. it is and always was intended this way. it worked like that for years, thats what makes the +2 proj map mod difficult if you would farm abyss normaly. if you get a boss, the room can spawn more rares, like we "abuse" now. its just rares with arch nem mods + look conversion from the league mechanic = busted. no exploit to see here.@@mr.gamingz
@@Toralian89 Still doesn't make it an exploit. Abyss has always worked this way, its just the league mechanic is completely busted and with abyss, its the perfect storm. Economy always balances itself out, everything cost 10X? well everything you farm also sells for 10X more. Unless you are getting your currency by selling your yellows to vendor, then you are screwed. Hell, you can make a fortune just running beast/essences in tier 1 maps. with a 2c map device cost and beast scarabs. like come on, there's no reason to complain.
with a good magic find build capable of clearing maxed out tier 7 Cemetery Map for example you can throw at it whatever you want... of course guilded abyss scarab... I do it with guilded scarab for more unique items, more harbingers and more strongboxes. So far I did... 10-15 maps like this, including most of time Delirium. What I learned -> of course you will get many drops and currency if you do this... but normally not enough to pay back the currency you have invested to get scarabs etc. You HAVE to get a GOOOOOD Wildwood Run before -> meaning if you don´t have 1k+ wisps it will be hard to get the results you see looking at sooo many videos here. For me today for example 1k purple wisps, 2k yellow and 2k blue and this TOTALLY made the difference. 6 Divinations Orbs AND a Mirror of Kalandra. Not saying that this will drop every time... but ... at least for me... MAIN IMPORTANT THING is to have a goooood wildwood !
Yes, this league mechanic really boosts the drops through the sky. If I can get an overall 4-6k wisps then I'm happy, if I can get close to 10k, then that's my retire plan.
yes, GG won't patch it out. It is not really an exploit, just the league mechanic works great with the Abyss Spires. They only patched the private league modifiers.
There is no guarantee to have it. It is a mod on rare monsters to convert loot into currency or scarabs. What you can do is to make sure that you have as mich rare monsters as possible on a map. On top of that increase the quality and quantity of loot through map mods, mf gear or red/blue altars, and to use scarabs like the one that gives you more uniques. And... hope for the best. Sooner or later you will start to see big pops of currency and scarabs. In this video I don't think I had that, this was just a regular "not bad" map.
I didn’t follow abyss strategy and I still get ard 5 div worth of loot per map quite often if wisps were collected above 6k, tried T7 but it’s really bad compared to T16, rewards are better on red map tbh
The biggest impact on the loot is the number of the Wildwood wisps. Would this work on standard? Sure, but do not expect those big 90 divs explosions what you can see in some highlights.

So I got huge explosions in my SECOND map today. I brought home so many winged and gilded scarabs along with 4 divine orbs that my wife canceled our divorce. ...in conclusion no, GGG did not nerf it.
as an update, those filters are BAD for this. YOu won't see anything from the unique loot drops on the ground. I crteated my own starting from one of those neversink fitlers, "Very Strict" I think, and just started to remove everything that I don't care aboput when I'm doing this.

If the game was designed this way, then it isn't broken. Just saying, lol. Currency farms drop the prices of items making it better for all players. So it isn't a bug or glitch, it's designed to be this way. ☮️

Method was good while it lasted. I got into it early, bought map juice for cheap, for example abyss sextants were 20c each, not 80-100. Beyond sextant is ridiculous, people are asking 1,5 divine for it. Scarabs are 20c each (gilded) and winged aren't much more which is kinda scuffed. With map juice being this expensive I changed the strat, fuck bleeding currency on maps where I don't get 9k wisps. Now i just farm heist, essence and bosses, witnessed by maven that spawns 1-3 more bosses. 1-2 minutes per map, can run these maps without any mods (white rarity), then i run heists, currency goes up just as fast as with this scuffed MF strat that makes my PC want to kill itself.
Well the strat's already too good even if we're not using beyond sextants and at this stage of the league, essence farming is too slow & heist farming is too rng this league. Boss farm is ok though, but get boring too quick.
@@botao4456 yeh they kinda fucked up, too much loot and currency is pretty worthless. I farmed heist a bit, even found replica alberon's warpath - one of the rarest uniques from heist, enabling strength stacking builds. And it is just 3 div... fuck this lol. BP's have high yield because i was pulling divines (even stacks of them) often but value of this is way too low compared to what you gain from this MF nonsense. Normally farming 10 dv/h from running BP's would make me silly rich, but not this league. This league 10 dv/h is nothing. But now i got a lot more familiar with heist and this will be an excellent league start in the next season. Cos i doubt they make such insane MF league again.
u need a starter build that cost almost nothing to startup, save up some currency to build ur dream char, go check out those starter build guide on youtube.
What the others said. POE is a very complex game. Your first 2 leagues everything is new to you. But look at the bright side: poe is a game that you can enjoy for the upcoming at least few thousand hours! :D Welcome to the game!
So to give you some hope fellow beginner, this is my third league. This time I decided to go SSF and do crafting. It worked amazing. I would recommend learning crafting, it will make your leagues so much easier. If you're like me and get tempted to just trade for shit, do ssf and force yourself to learn crafting. This is the first league I got to t16s
I think any leaguestarter that can farm this on t16s are not just "leaguestarters" but actual builds morphed from a leaguestarter. If you're okay with t7s, then any strong leaguestarter should be able to do it to some degree. I started with Toxic Rain totems pathfinder. on t7s I guess I could do it in a slower pace. Anyway, I'd recommend to just kick off a leagustarter build, get some currency, make it into an actual build or roll your 2nd character and then farm this. Don't worry you will have planty of time, it seems GGG lets this in the game for the whole 3.23.
if you wanna min max, yes you use sextants. beyond (extremly expensive), 2+ abyss, 25% pack size and delirium if you dont use orbs. to sustain maps: after you open the map, remove the voidstones. then t7 maps can drop again. also: dont run t16's. yes, you can get quant altars but your abysses can lead to bosses which are 100x less profitable most of the times. if you run t7, the boss cant spawn, so you are 100% on the spires. and you can still drop t0 uniques like hh and mb.
No one really never makes em so il ask. maybe make a poormans farming guid. like literally no sextants nothing etc. just give advice for a guy who knows nothing to start out. .. coz u say sextants etc many poe players dont even know what those are. iv played like 10 years now, but all i see is how to max this max that. even ziz etc people, no one really thinks of the guy who first reaches maps with 0 knowledge.
Yes, League mechanics existed before that too, with Sentinel that was broken too. And no one called it an “exploit”. Abyss Spiers have been a used technique for years. And that's not even the best thing you can do with the wisp. It's like saying "Legion EXPLOIT you can take the enemies out of stasis"@@mefi_
oh great, now chaos will be worth nothing and the best currency farm will be for the loot template content that isn't effected by this after a week of everyone doing this also care to explain why extra projectiles MATTERS on the map?
+2 proj works on the abyss spires. the abyss spires shoot projectiles that when they land, they spawn rares. purple juice/whisps give more projectiles aswell so you can have spires that shoot between 6-10 additional projectiles. and with that, spawn 6-10 more rares PER wave. there are three waves. 75%, 60% and 50%. so just think about it like this: you want as many rares as possible since the chance of a rare with an arch nem mod is higher that way. you want to stack whisps to possibly convert the arch nem mod into uniques/higher rarity currency and scarabs. and yes, this is hugely profitable. you know whats even more profitable? scarab farming. delirium orb farming. farming skittering orbs to sell to people who run 80/100% maps for them to sell the scarabs to the people who run the maps. the more demand there is for scarabs, the higher the prices go and the more profitable it is to farm scarabs. and since everyone is running that: pretty much every other league mechanic. harvest is huge since people want to use it to craft gear, einhar is huge because people have money = people craft items = people reroll synth implicits and imprint items. heist because the amulet bases are just stupidly good. same with rings.
@@punch1t delve/lab/heist probably going to be especially valuable soon too, due to being one of the few contents that does not scale with Wisps that generate rewards that only they can get(thus one of the few that cannot be combined with abyss farm, thus dealing in resources that have a small supply).
I'm pretty sure it's in the video, or at least I tried explaiming it. But what the others said. The "exploit" is scaling the monster spawning ability of the Stygoan Spires with the extra projectiles.
Apparently we are playing different games. I do everything as in the video, but unfortunately, after 20 hours of farming, I only earned 2 div. Now I'll tell you that life is a simulation. To buy the itema I want, I have to use currency buying services with real money, and it's terrible.
I guess not. GGG commented on it. They only patched the private leagues. So it seems that we will have this for this whole 3.23 to farm. How will it affect the market exactly, not sure, we will find it out in a few weeks :D
If you don't interact with the wisps your maps will literally drop nothing. I cannot sustain red maps running 100+ quant alch and go because it seems all the drops are gated behind wisps and without them you get nothing.
That's not true at all. My leaguestarter was giga scuffed and couldn't do the league mechanic for a good week or so. I just ran breach in low tier maps and made bank on uul-netol breachstones. Nowhere near what this abyss strat can make but it was perfectly fine for my gear level
Spire that creates unlimited monsters while being effected by the dust ... Yep I ran into that hell in Story and it's hard because soooo many mobs! I'd say it's worth the rewards if you survive it.. I wouldn't call that an exploit.

That atlas map is a mess. That atlas is eating up points using cryptic gateway and eldritch gateways. That atlas has literally no need for them. You could allocate them into more useful things.
It's not an exploit. If it were an exploit then you are admitting to cheating and should be banned. I mean the fact that you think it's an exploit but keep farming it says a lot.
It's in "quotes", not exploit, GGG won't patch it. They already commented on it, and they only modified the private league modifiers. At the beginning people started to call this method an exploit. .....and that world in the title helps baiting people to click on it ;) :D
you can't have it guaranteed. It's a mod that can exist on a rare monster. What you can do is to have as much rare monsters on your maps as possible, get high quantity and quality for items, and hope for the big loot explosions. if you are doing this, in my experience a bigger explosion happens once every 10 map, and 5-6 out of those 10 maps will have great loot in general. The rest is "meh"

im gonna guess you didnt mention (like everyone else this league) that, comparatively, the wisps contribute like 99% to the drops this league and if u don't get 3k of every wisp you might as well just exit the map.

I'm running the map even if the wisps are on low numbers. After uploading this video I got an Apothecary card with like 1k wisps overall :D But I guess it was just because of the Crimson Temple runs.
I don't think you need that many wisps. Usually I get overall nice loot with lower wisps. Even in this video 5 raw divs and a lot of other currency dropped from much lower numbers than what you suggested.
But if you already have a ton of currency and in a hurry for optimized runs, I can see why people would just leave the map under an overall 4-5k.
I literaly exit map if i dont get 4k at least.. waste of time. Preferably purple and yellow

Once every ~15 maps I got a big explosion that worths a ton. Like 16 winged scarbs and 50 gilded, or a shitton of currency worth 5-20 divs.
5-6 out of 10 maps is something like the video.
The other 4-5 out of that 10 is "meh..."
The most important thing here is the high amount of wisps.

Ahoy, there is an option in game under the UI tab: "Centred UI".
It only works if you have a wider aspect ratio. Either by having an ultrawide monitor, or what I do: I have a standard 2k 16:9 monitor and I play POE in windowed mode. You can just make the whole window narrower by pulling the top and/or bottom. And magically you see much more of the game.

For some reason you do it on red maps, while T7 maps guarantee abysses ALWAYS end up with a spire, because they can't have depths yet. That's why people do it on T7 cemetery
with a gilded abyss scarabs they end up in Spires 99% of the time (if they dont bug out on a tunnel map)
Spires don’t absolutely fall over in red maps, and you can get altars, assuming you have a very strong build
You can also get sextants and valdos. There is zero reason to not do t16 if your build can handle it.

I went with fulcrum chief that can do it on 90 div budget. Once done ill make some silly fun offmeta build.

Not the ice spear of splitting, just the regular ice spear, and only for this farming.
Soulrend of the Spiral is overall better for mapping I think, and the ebst for Simulacrum. However in this farming on t16s some rares have such a ridicilous high amount of HP that it feels like a 40 man wow raid.
The regular Ice Spear is better at quickly dispatching good single target Damage, I get the high amount of hits earlier for better ES gain, AND it is easier to control so I don't kill the Spire too early. I want to get all the rares from it before it dies.
So it's not "better" just better doing this. I'd swap back for Soulrend for regular mapping and / or Simulacrum.
also, the gem lvl doesnt really matter since the damage is coming from the Energy Blade itself. A gem with 23% Ice Spear is stronger with this build.

4:20 if you followed the atlas passive tree given in the link, you only have 4 Gateways selected. How do you get the "Abyss" craft in the mapping device?
You should have all the gateways.

Looks like ur using icespear now instead of soulrend, do you have a Pob for it?
Everything is the same. In the build guide I mentioned that all you need is:
Swap the amu (for the other annointment - 2 piercing) swap ice spear instead of soulrend, and crit dmg instead of gmp
I only use Ice Spear for bossing and this content.
Ice Spear is better against single target: better dps, ES gains kicks in faster. Most importantly Ice Spear is easier to control so I dont kill the Spire too fast accidentally
I really don't know how to feel about this league. On one hand, I never got this rich so quickly and was able to get to T16 in a jiffy, I like the league mechanic itself, I am beyond excited to try different transfigured gems. On the other hand, having access to so much sort of break the motivation to grind for gear and also, within 2 weeks, I had over 50 PC freeze/crash that required a reboot, not just the game, my whole rig just froze (I bought it in february and it is a pretty good PC)... Hopefully the game gets more stable otherwise I will limit myself to wait for poe2. A damn shame given how excited this league got me really. Thanks for the video, cheers!
I also had a ton of crashes on the first 7-10 days. Since then, none.
Hopefully they will patch out the rest of the issues too.
I'm overall happy with the league. The last 3 leagues just got better and better. I wasn't playing this much poe since Breach league.

Yeah I just started 2 days ago and my laptop died twice so far, but I plan to upgrade ram and new drive and open back for better air flow lol. Edit: I also lowered Res from 4k to 1440p but enabled Nvidia upscaling and it improved performance.

Yeah, I've got an absolute HOSS of a machine and even moderate juice will cause it to choke down to a blurry fuzz and sometimes just hang the entire comp.
Running blight maps is just plain risky as a result, and I've got a stash full of them. :/

Abyss + expedition + legion + delirium is what I do with my group. We usually 2 man cause 3 or 4 and it gets hard to clear. But it’s been raining loot. It’s madness.

Ain't adding reliquary scarabs to maps give more unique item loot? I'm confused
There are mods that can be rolled on rare monsters that convert every loot the monster would drop into scarabs or currency (or maps). You can't have this guaranteed, it is random.
What you can do is to have as many rare monsters as possible in your maps. By using this Abyss multiproj, getting Harbingers, Breaches, any other mod that would influence this.
You can also influence the amount of these drops (if happens) by getting as much increased quantity as possible. From the atlas tree, from scarabs, sextants, altars.

I have 16GB, RTX 3070 and AMD Ryzen 5 2600. I guess my problem in weak CPU? Problem is that FPS hardly decrease in a big rooms with tonns of skills.

First of all, welcome to POE! I hope you will enjoy this game.
When you check out your Atlas (by default by pressing G in-game) and hover over to the stone slots at the bottom, the game tells you.
You have to kill certain bosses.
When you are progressing to higher and higher maps (unlock the map passives in the Atlas Tree, like "Shaping the Skies" or "Shaping the Mountains" ) you will unlock options on the map device, red altars, blue altars and the maven. By hovering them over in the map device the game also tells you what should you do. (like kill x amouint of bosses on maps in tiers12+)
By the end of those questliness you will eventually unlock 2 voidstones, then the 3rd one for Maven.
The Uber Elder is a bit more complecated, but by the time you have 3 stones you will understtand the 4th one a bit easier.

For the 4 extra slots in the map device you will have to do a 4-way Legion encounter.
But also don't worry about that at this point.
Progress with your maps and you will eventually get the stones and understand much-much mroe about this (very complex) game.
ALso if you are new, don't stress too much about the "best strategies to earn currency". just play the game with whatever content you enjoy, and then alter you can refine how you play it.
Most importantly, have fun and take your time. I'm at almost 4000 hours of gametime and I still elarn new things.

I change them from time to time.
The Gilded abyss is a must have, the rest can be lower tier.
I always use the scarabs for more unique items. The other two is... div cards if the map has a good div card there or harbinger or breach usually.
For sextants i dont use any expenive ones. Nowadays if I do this strat I use the exyra 25% magic pack size, and the others kinda random. If i have a good deli orb like skittering then the one that doubles the progress of deli rewards for example.
@@mefi_ i think... Sextants like monster healing, strongboxes, abyss, magic pack size or even more rare monsters are a good combo... Also gambling deli orbs with harvest currency could be fine

None, absolutely zero on the items. The mf only comes from the map modifiers and the Altars.

Hi, no, not at all. I have 0, ZERO mf on my gear.
The increased quality and quality is coming from the map mods, the wisps (this is the biggest), and the red/blue altars.
Scarabs, sextants also helps, cuz you want a lot of rare mobs and you want them to drop a lot of uniques. And then just pray for the loot-conversion mods to appear on them.

Gaming is my main hobby and I upgraded from a GTX 970 and from a i7 3770k with 8 gigs of ram.
The upgrade was soo big that I can't even compare the 2 setup.

no. they said ints NOT intended in private leagues that they can spent money to get +2 proj EVERYWHERE, so basicly a free mod on maps. That would make it pay2win. paying for a private league, just slapping +2 proj onto that and farming t7 maps until you get multiple mirrors and hh/mb just to transfer onto the main league and dump it all. it is and always was intended this way. it worked like that for years, thats what makes the +2 proj map mod difficult if you would farm abyss normaly. if you get a boss, the room can spawn more rares, like we "abuse" now. its just rares with arch nem mods + look conversion from the league mechanic = busted. no exploit to see here.@@mr.gamingz
It kills league economy like one. 3 weeks in looks more like standard.
@@Toralian89 Still doesn't make it an exploit. Abyss has always worked this way, its just the league mechanic is completely busted and with abyss, its the perfect storm. Economy always balances itself out, everything cost 10X? well everything you farm also sells for 10X more. Unless you are getting your currency by selling your yellows to vendor, then you are screwed. Hell, you can make a fortune just running beast/essences in tier 1 maps. with a 2c map device cost and beast scarabs. like come on, there's no reason to complain.
with a good magic find build capable of clearing maxed out tier 7 Cemetery Map for example you can throw at it whatever you want... of course guilded abyss scarab... I do it with guilded scarab for more unique items, more harbingers and more strongboxes. So far I did... 10-15 maps like this, including most of time Delirium. What I learned -> of course you will get many drops and currency if you do this... but normally not enough to pay back the currency you have invested to get scarabs etc. You HAVE to get a GOOOOOD Wildwood Run before -> meaning if you don´t have 1k+ wisps it will be hard to get the results you see looking at sooo many videos here. For me today for example 1k purple wisps, 2k yellow and 2k blue and this TOTALLY made the difference. 6 Divinations Orbs AND a Mirror of Kalandra. Not saying that this will drop every time... but ... at least for me... MAIN IMPORTANT THING is to have a goooood wildwood !

Yes, this league mechanic really boosts the drops through the sky.
If I can get an overall 4-6k wisps then I'm happy, if I can get close to 10k, then that's my retire plan.

yes, GG won't patch it out. It is not really an exploit, just the league mechanic works great with the Abyss Spires. They only patched the private league modifiers.

How do we get unique to drop as currency?
There is no guarantee to have it. It is a mod on rare monsters to convert loot into currency or scarabs.
What you can do is to make sure that you have as mich rare monsters as possible on a map. On top of that increase the quality and quantity of loot through map mods, mf gear or red/blue altars, and to use scarabs like the one that gives you more uniques.
And... hope for the best. Sooner or later you will start to see big pops of currency and scarabs.
In this video I don't think I had that, this was just a regular "not bad" map.
I didn’t follow abyss strategy and I still get ard 5 div worth of loot per map quite often if wisps were collected above 6k, tried T7 but it’s really bad compared to T16, rewards are better on red map tbh

The biggest impact on the loot is the number of the Wildwood wisps.
Would this work on standard? Sure, but do not expect those big 90 divs explosions what you can see in some highlights.

It's the "default" Neversink loot filter. It's either "very strict" or "uber strict" in this video.
as an update, those filters are BAD for this. YOu won't see anything from the unique loot drops on the ground.
I crteated my own starting from one of those neversink fitlers, "Very Strict" I think, and just started to remove everything that I don't care aboput when I'm doing this.

Method was good while it lasted. I got into it early, bought map juice for cheap, for example abyss sextants were 20c each, not 80-100. Beyond sextant is ridiculous, people are asking 1,5 divine for it. Scarabs are 20c each (gilded) and winged aren't much more which is kinda scuffed. With map juice being this expensive I changed the strat, fuck bleeding currency on maps where I don't get 9k wisps.
Now i just farm heist, essence and bosses, witnessed by maven that spawns 1-3 more bosses. 1-2 minutes per map, can run these maps without any mods (white rarity), then i run heists, currency goes up just as fast as with this scuffed MF strat that makes my PC want to kill itself.
there are a lot of great farming strategies and the best thing is, you can just switch between them whenever you feel like you need a change
Well the strat's already too good even if we're not using beyond sextants and at this stage of the league, essence farming is too slow & heist farming is too rng this league. Boss farm is ok though, but get boring too quick.
@@botao4456 yeh they kinda fucked up, too much loot and currency is pretty worthless. I farmed heist a bit, even found replica alberon's warpath - one of the rarest uniques from heist, enabling strength stacking builds. And it is just 3 div... fuck this lol.
BP's have high yield because i was pulling divines (even stacks of them) often but value of this is way too low compared to what you gain from this MF nonsense. Normally farming 10 dv/h from running BP's would make me silly rich, but not this league. This league 10 dv/h is nothing.
But now i got a lot more familiar with heist and this will be an excellent league start in the next season. Cos i doubt they make such insane MF league again.

u need a starter build that cost almost nothing to startup, save up some currency to build ur dream char, go check out those starter build guide on youtube.

So to give you some hope fellow beginner, this is my third league. This time I decided to go SSF and do crafting. It worked amazing. I would recommend learning crafting, it will make your leagues so much easier.
If you're like me and get tempted to just trade for shit, do ssf and force yourself to learn crafting.

I think any leaguestarter that can farm this on t16s are not just "leaguestarters" but actual builds morphed from a leaguestarter.
If you're okay with t7s, then any strong leaguestarter should be able to do it to some degree. I started with Toxic Rain totems pathfinder. on t7s I guess I could do it in a slower pace.
Anyway, I'd recommend to just kick off a leagustarter build, get some currency, make it into an actual build or roll your 2nd character and then farm this. Don't worry you will have planty of time, it seems GGG lets this in the game for the whole 3.23.

if you wanna min max, yes you use sextants. beyond (extremly expensive), 2+ abyss, 25% pack size and delirium if you dont use orbs. to sustain maps: after you open the map, remove the voidstones. then t7 maps can drop again. also: dont run t16's. yes, you can get quant altars but your abysses can lead to bosses which are 100x less profitable most of the times. if you run t7, the boss cant spawn, so you are 100% on the spires. and you can still drop t0 uniques like hh and mb.

Yes, League mechanics existed before that too, with Sentinel that was broken too. And no one called it an “exploit”. Abyss Spiers have been a used technique for years. And that's not even the best thing you can do with the wisp. It's like saying "Legion EXPLOIT you can take the enemies out of stasis"@@mefi_

also care to explain why extra projectiles MATTERS on the map?
Abyss spires shoot more projectiles = more monster spawns
+2 proj works on the abyss spires. the abyss spires shoot projectiles that when they land, they spawn rares. purple juice/whisps give more projectiles aswell so you can have spires that shoot between 6-10 additional projectiles. and with that, spawn 6-10 more rares PER wave. there are three waves. 75%, 60% and 50%. so just think about it like this: you want as many rares as possible since the chance of a rare with an arch nem mod is higher that way. you want to stack whisps to possibly convert the arch nem mod into uniques/higher rarity currency and scarabs.
and yes, this is hugely profitable. you know whats even more profitable? scarab farming. delirium orb farming. farming skittering orbs to sell to people who run 80/100% maps for them to sell the scarabs to the people who run the maps. the more demand there is for scarabs, the higher the prices go and the more profitable it is to farm scarabs. and since everyone is running that: pretty much every other league mechanic. harvest is huge since people want to use it to craft gear, einhar is huge because people have money = people craft items = people reroll synth implicits and imprint items. heist because the amulet bases are just stupidly good. same with rings.
@@punch1t delve/lab/heist probably going to be especially valuable soon too, due to being one of the few contents that does not scale with Wisps that generate rewards that only they can get(thus one of the few that cannot be combined with abyss farm, thus dealing in resources that have a small supply).

But what the others said. The "exploit" is scaling the monster spawning ability of the Stygoan Spires with the extra projectiles.
Apparently we are playing different games. I do everything as in the video, but unfortunately, after 20 hours of farming, I only earned 2 div. Now I'll tell you that life is a simulation.
To buy the itema I want, I have to use currency buying services with real money, and it's terrible.

just run legion, abyss makes your maps take alot longer and you get the same amount of rares from legion
except that spires scales with extra proj and purple whisp gives extra proj so it means even more rare actually nothing beat abyss

I guess not. GGG commented on it. They only patched the private leagues.
So it seems that we will have this for this whole 3.23 to farm. How will it affect the market exactly, not sure, we will find it out in a few weeks :D

If you don't interact with the wisps your maps will literally drop nothing. I cannot sustain red maps running 100+ quant alch and go because it seems all the drops are gated behind wisps and without them you get nothing.

That's not true at all. My leaguestarter was giga scuffed and couldn't do the league mechanic for a good week or so. I just ran breach in low tier maps and made bank on uul-netol breachstones. Nowhere near what this abyss strat can make but it was perfectly fine for my gear level
get 5 divine orbs in 1 map, still spends time checking fractured items and putting one for sale for 100c.... just do more maps o_O

Spire that creates unlimited monsters while being effected by the dust ... Yep I ran into that hell in Story and it's hard because soooo many mobs! I'd say it's worth the rewards if you survive it..

That atlas map is a mess. That atlas is eating up points using cryptic gateway and eldritch gateways. That atlas has literally no need for them. You could allocate them into more useful things.

It's not an exploit. If it were an exploit then you are admitting to cheating and should be banned. I mean the fact that you think it's an exploit but keep farming it says a lot.
It's in "quotes", not exploit, GGG won't patch it. They already commented on it, and they only modified the private league modifiers.
At the beginning people started to call this method an exploit.

you can't have it guaranteed. It's a mod that can exist on a rare monster.
What you can do is to have as much rare monsters on your maps as possible, get high quantity and quality for items, and hope for the big loot explosions.
if you are doing this, in my experience a bigger explosion happens once every 10 map, and 5-6 out of those 10 maps will have great loot in general. The rest is "meh"
