Fendt 1050 Vario & Kverneland on land plough | JKP | Tillage 2018 + Bonus

The biggest wheeled tractor build by Fendt remains a truly eye catching piece of engineering. We catch up with the Fendt 1050 Vario ploughing wheat stubble on some very heavy Dutch clay. It is pulling a 7 furrow Kverneland LO 100 Variomat on land plough.
At the end of the video is a little bonus. A Fendt Favorit 926 Vario power harrowing with a 6 metre Rabe power harrow. 18 years ago, in 2000, this was the biggest model build by Fendt with 260 HP. Nearly 2 decades later the horsepower has nearly doubled!
This tractor is on demonstration from Dutch importer Mechan Groep and dealer Niestijl Mechanisatie at the Johannes Kerkhovenpolder (JKP) in Woldendorp, Groningen, Netherlands.

Quite a lot of stubble residue staying outside of the plughed soil which can be eliminated with mounting skimmers to the plough. Nice video though.

Thanks for the compliments. They don't want to mount skimmers so the residue is mixed through the whole soil profile rather than all put in the furrow bottom.

Is the attachment on the second Fendt called a "tilther?" I like the layout and simplicity of the interior and the ride looked pretty smooth. Nice unit.

It's awkward, I think
Fendt 1050 has got 500hp and pulling 7 furrow on clay
I drive John deere 7730 (190hp) with 5 furrow Kuhn varimaster 152 on hard clay and drive 8.5 km/h
And the question is why he goes only 6.5 km/h?

This is very heavy clay soil so it takes a lot of pulling power. The Fendt can handle the plough well. It is also a demo to see how it would cope. You can see the plough is shaking because the land is very hard and dry. Bolts were already shaking loose so he couldn't go any faster.
