VERY INSIGHTFUL interview
Everyone wants to watch a gripping clash but the problem is Brunt is very disrespectful towards Indian women of color which is why i am glad that Kate is on this panel.
I was looking forward o the interview but for me ,Stafanie taylor is a must have on Ash's show when it comes to non Indian female cricketers and Thailand's cricketers as well
.I would like to see more women of color /indigenous origin women cricketers from NZ ,ZIMB etc .
Staanie is not only an exceptional all rounder ,she is also an inspirational woman of color and is respected for her grace and off the field persona

I have been watching women's cricket as a kid since 2005 when there was hardly any coverage for women's game. Sarah Taylor was my favourite player from the time she made her debut in 2006.

Wow..absolutely loved this episode. Kate has become ambassador for women's cricket overnight. I think she shared some key points around women's cricket adaptation and growing popularity. Ashwin as usual is a superstar cricketer and soon to be one million subscribed youtuber. His knowledge on world cricket, command over language and his etiquette is second to none. He is spot on when he mentioned about tennis as an example, where we hardly see any difference. In 1990s I use to follow steffi graf across all grand slams, so I'm wondering why not cricket. It's just a matter of time and will get there sooner. I wish women's cricket all the very best and hopefully we will see women's IPL in near future.

Assam is in the Northeast, yes. And out here, we will support anything that is a sporting event because we usually exist in the periphery.
Thanks Ashwin for bringing into focus issues and topics that only get lip service from self serving, unprofessional mainstream media. Your efforts (both on the cricketing field and off it) may not get the recognition and rewards due immediately but history will one day look back and acknowledge your contribution better.
