Using a much thinner sewing thread will give you much more control of the thread and pattern! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
You could also put nail color on and blow it around, using a straw very close. These are beautiful.
Yes I have tried this technique, along with bubble nails and loved it. Something different to enjoy with nail art 🎨
They're so pretty! You could also use very fine jewelry chain instead of the thread. It'll make different textures when you pull it. I totally get what you mean about getting into whatever I'm making. Some art is so relaxing to do!

I think that's a great tip when they use this technique in acrylic paint pouring they saturate thicker thread and the weight gives you somewhat control over how the thread falls.
I just bought a few lengths of ball chain that would be perfect for this!
OMG. You May not believe this, but my husband does flow art on large canvases. When I saw you doing this on nails, it nearly blew my mind. It won’t be long before I do this myself now. I just have to buy some more colors.
I tried it out with a dark and light purple. They came out beautiful! Look like irises.

It’s coming out so beautiful 😍 but i think you should try it on your own nails, i find it so hard to use that method with one hand

On that design you created at around min 7.33, I see the figure of a woman, you could add a red hat and red lips. Loved it!

I absolutely feel like I’m meditating when I do nail art, or art of any kind, really. It’s very relaxing. I like using top coat over my base color. It gives a bit more definition, and allows you to layer your designs without disrupting what you’ve already done.

I've seen this done on canvas before with beautiful results. Definitely going to try this soon on my nails! Just fyi - there's a channel on TH-cam called Mixed Media Girl. She does this kind of thing sometimes on canvas and shows how to make different shapes, like flowers and hearts. Might be worth checking out?

I guess so, but the problem would be it drying too fast so you'd have to work real quick. Maybe try with some polishes that dry slowly :)

One of my followers shared that she tried it with regular nail polish and it worked the same way, but you need to do it fast and choose the ones not-so-fast-curing

You have beautiful nails show them in the video don't wear gloves unless you are doing real person
I wear them to avoid skin contact with gel or any other product, had some allergic reactions experience in the past :(
