- I always thought I would hate going to a furry convention. Earlier this month, I was given the chance to attend one. Here are my thoughts!

is it weird my experience was almost 1:1? first furcon I ever went to, mooching off of friends the entire weekend, talking to no one (unless they approached me first), becoming a changed man after the friday rave, and the exact same sentiment as you about trying to talk to more people. anyways, glad you had a great time!!!

this was my first con and i only went for saturday but man i had a great time. i only went cause i’m friends with a few suiters so it made me more comfortable to have someone there i can follow around. i wanted to check out the night market but due to the long ass line we didn’t even attempt it lmao, we just went to the party/rave. anyways loved the video man it’s funny as hell

Furnal Equinox is my home towns and the closest furry convention to me! I will always be there every year until I can no longer afford to go which I hope not anytime. If you do end up attending FE 2025 catch me there! I'm pretty shy, so I don't really make the first moves to conversate, but I don't bite I promise!
It’s funny when I read your old tweet cause like…I’ve been to 5 conventions (three unique conventions since I went to FE and FurEh twice) and the only s*xual things I ever did were with my partner 😆
I was too busy having fun with friends and enjoying the conventions activities. Cause cons are VIBES!

Honestly, looking back on it now I don't even know how I got that sentiment in the first place. Probably just my own prejudices I had at the time combined with the people I used to hang with. Regardless I'm glad I took the plunge and actually attended a con, it was without a doubt the most fun I've had in years and I'm looking forward to going to more as soon as I can

I've been to regular cons, and one fur con, the fur con was way better
the one I went to had a good adult vendor area, it ran the whole time, was sectioned off from public view, and had a bit of a walkway blocked by a person checking IDs
anything you bought had to stay in the bag until you left the con area, and you couldn't tell what was in the bag from the outside
some of the stuff in there wasn't adult stuff but since the sellers also had adult stuff that was more than prints they sold in there
