thank you for your service, you crazy bastard! o7 that landing was a masterclass, but the fact that you discovered the planet through methodical parallax comparisons is just ... well done, my dude, well done.
Yeah I was very happy how well it all worked. I knew the planet existed but I didn't know if it was visible from NVA-31, or was a "real" thing that you can land on.
Yep! I wanted the whole thing recorded for reference. It's a 4-day trip. Half the distance to the sun but I had to go slower to save fuel for the landing.
It should be possible, but it has about 10km/s less deltav than the ex5, so you'd have to make the trip at maybe 15km/s cruising speed. It also has less heat tolerance so you'd have to be more careful with aerobraking. It should be possible to do in the freighter too, if you were willing to wait longer.
Yeah I was talking to him about that about 6 months ago. Sounds like he knows how he's going to do interplanetary travel and sounded like it might already be mostly implemented but he doesn't want to release it until some other systems are done and there's a good reason to go to other planets. Right now they're pretty dead.

what a nailbiter!
So that's why you've streamed for several days your craft just going "somewhere" in space.

Is it possible to make that trip on the shuttle?

@@eikopoppy29 yeah def David need to create that warpdrive space station to which you dock and take control and go places at warp speeds.
