I always love to see videos with base models, they are rare. K5 often suffer from dealer mark-ups, on the other hand its sibling Hyundai Sonata is usually offered with discounts, so OTD Sonata usually costs $2k+ less than K5.
I wanted a 23 forte gt so bad. Ended up getting this exact same k5 and I feel the same as you, it's fast and somewhat quick like the forte but more spacious!
Hi, I watched your reviews for both camry and k5. Please be advised which one your prefer personally. Is K5 worthy to chose over a reliable camry? I'm from Dubai and here the safety features are offered in GTI line only. Other all variants only comes with back camera and auto cruise control, nothing more than that.

Too bad the side windows on the base model are not acoustic like the other models. Is the interior volume louder then the other models? I test drove a GT-Line. That joker was as quiet as a vault.
$26.000 that is a good price for a mid size sedan. Its almost worth the risk. Had i not had such a horrible experience with this company i might be tempted to give them another chance.
I hate that KIA chose to go back to regular tires on these LXS when they made it a base model I got a 2022 AWD with 18inch wheels, they are all over the place with features across their trims
How come my 2012 optima has a 2.4L with 200 horsepower and about 186 torque but the new k5 has just 1.6L with 180 horsepower and 195 torque unless you're in the top GT trim? Does the 2012 not seem to give better results or does Torque matter that much where it levels it out?
the turbo with 180Hp kinda sucks it takes a couple of seconds before pulling off at stop and go, but I love the tech and handling better than the Optima
@danielmartins9901 The new one is faster! But I bought the last year of the Optima (2020) for $19,500 at the dealer new when the K5's were just coming out at a much higher price so I am happy!

It’s always better to use premium gas when you have a turbo charge engine, cause it keeps the turbo from breaking and it makes it last longer

It's great that Kia didn't ruin the K5 interior with a capacitive HVAC panel yet. Too bad I can't say the same thing about the Sonata refresh.

The turbo 1.6L definitely has better low end torque compared to the 2.4L, I have driven both!
