I love this except for you agreeing to her keeping the too-small jeans to "strive for health". She should ditch those jeans!!! Post-2 children, pretty recently, she looks great and should feel it. If she happens to ever be smaller again she can buy a new pair of smaller jeans then, that fit her properly, but she doesn't need a yardstick pair in the interim to make her negatively view the beautiful body she's in now!
shoeboxenterprises Linda I know! I hear you, it’s her personal thing and everybody is different so it’s important for me to support her. We all have a different way of doing things and that’s hers! Xoxoxo
Agreed! I have a pair of old pre baby jeans and even though I lost weight and I'm the same size my body is not the same shape it will never be no matter how fit I am. It's healthier to find pants that fit than try to get back down cause hips spread out after having babies..c section scars get irritated etc.
Na, need to keep'm. It's not about buying a new pair, it's about knowing exactly how a garment fit before. A new pair can't give you that. I have one dress that is my "measuring stick". I'm almost in it. Just snug around the hips. I stopped trying to lose weight after I reached my first goal. Now I'm ready to lose more. Pulling out that dress confirmed that I had not slipped back and am motivated to get into it. I don't view my body negatively. I just don't feel good at my size and need to lose weight to lower my blood pressure.
I need a video like this for hourglass or even pear shape. I’m very hourglass and it’s hard to style around big hips, big bust, and small waist. I usually just end up wearing a crop top and high waisted pair of jeans to emphasize my waist but it’s getting boring.
Omg I've just been doing this with my closet. I've discovered I've been dressing all wrong for my long torso and short legs so I'm getting rid of everything!! It’s such a challenge now to make myself dress the way I should. In theory it makes total sense but actually applying it is a bit more challenging.
My body type is hour glass or pear shaped... would love to see what you would suggest for type of styles for my body type.... I have such a hard time figuring it out!!!
Good advice about what works on apple body types (and also busty). However, just because you haven't worn something for a year, that's too soon to get rid of it! Try it on and restyle it with accessories or whatever, take it into a tailor. Too many clothes end up in the landfill
tropicallime I have the same problem. My favorite neckline is a u-shape, even over the V; never a jewel nor tee shirt rounded neckline as it makes a chest “ shelf” on me!
I used to have boobs issue but after cancer I have none so finding top blouse is challenging when I am a pear. Meh but this is the body I only have . I would love to dress better as I am tend to lead to jeans and tee shirt.
Kim XO that would be amazing! I just moved into my new apartment for the first time and I think it would be helpful to others in the same situation on how to minimize while moving or transitioning to something new like a house! ♥️
She's not a small. Just saying! You can't help people by lying to them. "Who wants to wear tight things unless your 20" yet you tell her she needs a small camisole?
I'm going to go ahead and say it...Too much make up! It looks like she's a '90s Jersey girl. I think she's beautiful and could be so much more without all that drawn on make up. It's just my opinion. I'm sure my look could get picked apart by anyone who wanted to but I'm not putting myself on TH-cam as a professional. I thought maybe this was an old video and was shocked to see the date!
Would certain styles work best for different body shapes and sizes? For example I love those bohemian, beachy chic styles. And I LOVE white clothing But I am a big girl so I wonder if it’s actually making me look frumpy 🤔 would you recommend certain styles for different body types?
Everyone has an opinion on what looks good on their body. If you like to where chic styles i say totally go for it! All you have to do is wear the right pieces together!

Not sure why this lady is uncomfortable with her body. She looks amazing. Sure, we all used to be so tiny tiny before we got a bit older and had children, but she has a great body shape. If a woman knows what she likes, what makes her look and feel great in, then why doesn't she just go through her own wardrobe and decide for herself wjat to toss or keep? Who needs to pay some unnecessary stylist to tell her what she already knows or could easily learn from a book or by seeking others' ho est opinion on how she looks, as in the classic"Does this make my bum look fat?" question women ask their loved ones, to which thecan onlanswer in the negative, though they must nevelie about anything else... I would only accept a stylist telling me what to wear if I was on some stage performing co tract, wbere the company paid me and the stylist and was tberefore entitled to dictate my attire, on the job only, though, not elsewhere. They'd know what look tbey want me to have and, if it fails, then it is all their fault, not my own wardrobe fault. Some stage wear is very vross, chosen by artists' managers. The artists hate theirclothes but they are designed for a certain eggect and they do the trick. The aryist can focus on their art, not whatever has been hung on tbeir body or plastered on their face etc to create the desired image. Most real artists couldn't care less about how they look because they are engrossed in what they do, hence their often slovenly appearance, which is why they so. Etimes do need a stylist to sort them out, especially if they are a bit too veeky, weird, over the top etc, as some can be. Stylists can also be useful in workplaces that require strict uniform and immaculate groomi g eg air hostesses etc. Gross hairdos eg vreen dread locks or weird make up or strange colour nail polish etc can ruin even the finest of good style work uniforms companies supy their workers. Also, although they may have to all wear the same basic uniform, it can be tailored to suit different body types without ruini g the uniform look of the entire team. Eg a boxy ja met is gi e on big, statuesque or tall slender womebut a disater on peite curvy ones, but if the same jacket is shortenened and fitted with mandarts etc, the petite curvy woman can also wear it, and look uniformed lime the rest. y
Please do this with people of different body types!!!

Or not at all. Stupid

Those jeans will also be outdated if she ever loses the weight so there’s no point in holding onto them.
She's beautiful, but it's not a bad thing either to work out consistently and lose excess visceral fat around the waist.

Maybe try wearing a long necklace, this would give an illusion of a v neck, and you could wear it over any shirt if it is versatile. :)
also, like in the video, she suggested her the blazers and button ups that creates a v silhouette
Karen Geisterfer once I get a button up that doesn’t burst at the bust, it is too big for the rest of me

Love it! Would also have liked to have seen her model some of the outfits the way you would style them. 👍
I love the practical video. Please upload more.
Will you be doing this type of video for other body types? Also.. SO blown away by your arms, could not stop staring at them!!! Can you please do a "workout with you" video? Or talk about what works for you? Please? Thank you!

Tweely brilliant and helpful !!!
Eg a boxy ja met is gi e on big, statuesque or tall slender womebut a disater on peite curvy ones, but if the same jacket is shortenened and fitted with mandarts etc, the petite curvy woman can also wear it, and look uniformed lime the rest. y
She's not an apple, she's an inverted triangle.
PLEASE use a tailor or dressmaker to alter the neckline of clothes you love!!!
