I had an audio bug when switching from speakers to headphones it used to be a lot quieter with headphones, sounded more muffled think it might be fixed haven't tried it out yet.
I seen a comment on her to fix the stuck pallets that works. Pour a bucket of grain or grass or whatever on the ground around the pallet. It seems to reset things on the ground beside it and the pallet pops to the surface!
When your cleaning around the silage pit, drive in the direction of the pit, not square on, less likely for it to recognise the tool your using, and fill it. It's auto filling the forks on the front, similar to how bales are picked up.
ive alo had that same issue with a worker not being able to be used on newly plowed fields. When i started making my farm on Elmcreek, i was flattening out some of my fields and that pretty much took away the pre-created field so when i re-plowed, i had issues with workers not being able to work in the field on some equipment and be able to do it on others. Also, I really enjoy you timelapse music! Its always different so i never know what style and genre to expect.

I used a conveyor to move my last load of silage, got the idea from your hof bergmann let’s play. It’s so cool to have one working deliver and drive back to the farm while another trailer fills.
Dag, when u make silage bunkers. Even when you are 100% compressed, pls make it even and look smooth, before covering. as in real life. It really doesnt take more than a few drives with some weight and eventually a roller. And it just makes life so much more satisfying 😛
Great video! You can always use the machinery in the “forage/chaff” package in the shop menu when it comes to selling the silage, it may be easier than using the buttrake and wheel loader!
Next time you do silage you should try the "Hawe SUW 5000" Auger trailer. It can both tip out the back and pipe out to the side which makes filling the silage pits very easy and leaves far less mounds and bumps. Also means you don't have to drive in to the pit with the truck or tractor except to compact. It also holds 50k litres of chaff so not much less than hte big red trailer you were using.
Hey Daggerwin. This is probably a little late since you are done with the corn silage, but there is an overloader in game it is SUAW that will hook onto the back of the forager and you can drive the forager then you can unload into a separate trailer with the pipe. It works I've used it
The Buck Rake seemed to be peircing the zone for the silage pit, drawing the chaff from its tip out into the buck rake and outside the silage wall. The problem was the Rake, not the silage pit. or rather, the interaction between the two. it only piled out when you went in too deep with the tip of the Rake, as it can pierce the outer walls of the silage pit for some reason.
Use a Dolly on the big trailer, problem solved, and when finisher unload the additive before returning.(next time) You could also compact the pile and cover it for silage too

It is a bit loud when the machines are running, not a deal breaker certainly, but could use a bit of adjustment. I still haven’t played 22 yet as I told my wife I was about to buy it and she said she had gotten it for me for Christmas, and she’s literally making me wait until Saturday 😐. For future silage attempts I just had an idea, If it gets to be too much to drive through the pit you could always tip a trailer outside the pit and use the wheel loader to tip it into the center over the walls.
You could probably use a dolly on the red trailer and tow it behind the harvester and if you were able to get another trailer you could disconnect the first one and have a worker drive it back to the farm while you continue to harvest. It may even be worth leasing the additional one just for the harvest.
I don’t know what the patch did for trees, but pre patch the willow were ‘growing’ but not showing the growth. After nearly two years the trees would suddenly pop and appear as young mature trees. Oak and willow were effected.
I like the louder engine sounds. It contributes to a better immersion experience. 👍 Plus, it’s not overpowering your voice. I love how the farm is evolving, so keep rocking it! Daggerwin the huge benefit with that trailer is that you can also open the rear door and run the walking floor in the Forward mode you can load pallets into the trailer 2 across then walk them forward
i know it's a backlog video, so you probably already did you winter crop, but, you should do grass for your winter crop. You can mow them once to get the grass/hay from it and then you can cultivate it to get the fertilization stage. It helps to cover those "months" with nothing to do too
When you turn free mode on to place that bunker it allows you to place it anywhere without leaving the ground for you. Where you placed that bunker may not have been completely level and caused it to glitch.
I watched as a worker drove my vehicle and trailer from a sell point to the farm ... it was a scary business ... he drove all over the road, crashed into a couple of road signs, mounted the pavement and tried to take out a couple of pedestrians ... honestly I thought I was bad at driving in game lol. All I can say is I am glad I have traffic turned off or it would have been a demolition derby.
There is an issue with this update. Picking up pallets with your forklift will make your forklift go flying and the pallets as well. You can not take them up by hand anymore. Also the key bindings are indeed reset after the update. Nice feature is that you can walk up to the golden question mark to get to the help menu of the certain building type.
Daggerwin for the issue at field 12, its a very crazy idea but you could make ur lorry drive from one side to another and get in the forager and try to keep up

Also, you can put a dolly and that red trailer on the back of that particular Forage Harvester (haven't used another to say you can on others), and it'll then fill and would mean you don't have to be next to it. I think you placed the pit near the cow pen with free mode on, that may be why its spilling so bad compared to the one that came with the farm. Edit: I just went back and checked you did have free mode toggled on.
You can fit a lot more silage into the pit. You need to compact it to 100% every time you do a layer not just dump bunch and try to compact it later. Layers shouldn’t be too thick either.
Hey Dag I would love to see a series purely based around animals so start from farm manager and even give yourself some more money if needed minimal crop involvement
If I were you, I would rent two of the biggest trailers the forage harvester can pull. That way while you cart one the harvester can always be moving and not just sitting there wasting money. Just a thought. I know it isn't feasible with the small amount there is to do now but, in the future it will certainly speed things along.
Your key bindings changed because they added a new vanilla binding for building, prop, factory placement so everyone's changed. There's a new Landini and like 20 8 think new machines/impliments, also they added a console command to show where your remaining collectables are.

Last episode you mentioned how you probably shouldn't tip your trailer when you're truck is tilted there's something else you shouldn't do while tipping your trailer and that's move if you're trailer rocks side to side you can very badly damage the hydraulic shaft
you can get around700£/1000L for silage so I recommend waiting for that price because you have such a large amount of silage the price will make a big difference.
I follow this series for a long time and i like it,but im still amazed to see just how bad you are whit the workers....they are amazing if you know how to use them.
Just a thought: you could have gone and gotten a collectable, instead of taking out a loan. If i remember right, that's how you originally wanted to use them.
Hey Daggerwin you forgot you got silos at the BGA as well to convert into silage so you didn't need to buy another.... Also start using mods for stuff.. ie like this as I got a fermenter that looks like the stone crusher and costs £100 as I got it for Pounds
I'm co fused what's the benefit of using a forage harvester over normally harvesting the corn? I get u can use silage for TMR but is it more profitable to do silage or harvest the crop

Lowering the ground with landscape is supposed to work also i think, or buy a sellpoint and push them over there with a silage leveler.
@@svh2137 lowering the ground didn't work, much like you can't lower around a building. And once they sink, they don't want to move.

Put the silage in the pit, compact it then put the blanket over it before you drive off it then nothing will spill out again.

You can use the forage harvester to pick up grass with the right head so it has more us since grass grows every 2 months
To make the worker recognize your new fields properly you will have to replough the entire field so everything connects, if that makes sense

I like the game volume. It is louder, but perfect for me.
Daggerwin you can also use the ropa machine to pick up the silage and you can load it right into the trailer

I like the one sided pits u have to back in but easier to level and compact pushing it all against the wall
You should get a forage harvester auger wagon so when the trailer is full the worker can still keep going
You can fill up the 1/4 full honey pallets by putting them back on the spawn

Activate Free mood means, you can put placeables beside each other without having the overlaping with another object warning comeing up.

You can put the big trailer onto the dolly then put that behind the harvester. Make it easier and quicker
You don't need to click create a job for transport. Click the set destination button next to it, much quicker ;)

The rake is pulling the contents of the pit through the wall and then dumping off the rake, which is why it looked like the pit was leaking.

toggle free-mode is build-in place anywhere, you finally don't need that mod anymore to place stuff closer together =)
Put the dolly on the larger trailer and haul it behind your harvester. Send AI to drive your truck to the field with smaller trailer.

You could use your baler for the overflow of the pit
