I love Dahi's production because he is minimal and just shines where it matters. No need to go bananas with FX and crazy mix techniques. He just chooses quality sounds and quality vibes and his work and catalog speak for itself. Thank you for sharing this.
my thoughts exactly. I grew up playing in bands and orchestras. Good ass music was good ass music before all the crazy shit. Good music transitions itself and embellishes itself with ornaments. No fx or crazy mix stuff like you said. And it still gets sampled decades later
They really should've made all these layers more prominent in the final song, can barely hear them. in fact i barely recognised it when looking for the final track. Such a shame, this is insanely good.
@@who_is_dis I think at the end of the day it’s szas song and her vocals are the main attraction. I love all the sounds he used too but you don’t want them all clashing or competing with the vocals. The sounds then get resigned to kinda a complimentary role.
Hey man, your so talented! Love the video! Happy New Years! Would you happen to have this sound fully available somewhere?? 7:24 I would love to use this on a traveling video my my social media. If you do I’ll pay you or whatever you ask.

He’s producing for an artist. Im sure the engineer amplified those elements and didn’t like how it sounded so they toned certain things down
@@CHUCKSANDPOLOS idk man I think there’s plenty of space for them. You can also side chain against the vocal for extra space but maybe you’re right.

@@johnny14980 Thing is - it's not actually THAT Busy, You could easily mix all of that in, especially is you pull percussion back.
@@who_is_disits fine as it is
Too 🔥🔥🔥 one of my favorite song on the album. Much respect to Dahi 💯🎶🎶🎶

It's my favourite track as well. Such a great track right? Love the processing on Toliver's vocals
