Its really true the more you count the more youre prepared to save. 3 years in....year 1 2 electric bikes to get the work. Year 2 garden sorted. Year 3 credit cards paid off. This year coming our plan is to start a month ahead binder, ive worked the figures out! Its not a great amount but i know i cant sqwinch the budget any tighter. This truly does work..... Keep counting and keep saving.... It all adds up but dont let it phase you... Youve done it. Youve proved to yourself it works. Youve shown everyone else it can.... Happy saving.🎉🎉🎉. Its been proven phycologically that the more you count it the more youre willing to save it. And i laughed our first year cos i couldnt believe it either....😂 Threw it all on the bed and jumped on it....

I started cashstuffing in june this year. Before I had a budget but didnt do the spending money in different envelopes and therefore I always had no money left at the end of the month. Now I have an average of 150- 200 euros over to safe in different categories, different sinking funds. When I calculated this it seemed that I safed over 1100 euros which is amazing. Another thing I do is bills that have a montly payment for 10 months I safe that amount too. So like medical insurance , in the netherlands you can pay it in 10 montly payments , that leaves 2 months with no payment. Normally I would spend it with my montly expenses , now this year I will safe the last 2 months and put that amount in a sinking fund. I love cashstuffing, it gave me insight in my spending behaviour and it taught me to be more caution about how I spend my money
