- The Jameson's Mamba is a highly venomous snake native to equatorial Africa. These mambas are known to be arboreal and have a preferance to forested areas that are dense in vegetation types of habitat.
This was my first ever sighting of a Jameson's Mamba while on a herping tour in Uganda. What an amazing experience it was. Big shout out to our guides for finding this beauty!

The Serpents are fearless and cheerful people.
this is something indescribable! Still, nature is magnificent in its creations
I am in complete disbelief that you don’t have over two to three hundred thousand subscribers! How is that possible???
Fantastic video of a beautiful specimen, together with an abundance of knowledge and information.
the nature of the Earth is unique and unrepeatable! Thanks!
The breathtaking world of nature!
Very informative video! Thank you for your work!

Thanks for a very interesting video!
Hello everyone. Thank you very much to the whole team for an interesting video.
How much courage you and your team have! I am very afraid of snakes, but learning a lot about them is very interesting! Thank you for the video😊
Thanks for watching glad your learning about them, they are amazing animals 🙌
wow!😯😍👍🏻
Snakes are not so scary!) thanks for the educational content
Good video. Thank you!
The Mamba Snake is pretty, but I prefer to see it on video because I have a phobia of it, and more so the one that is potentially poisonous. You have my respects for approaching snakes.
Thank you very much 😊.This super
Very beautiful and at the same time so oapsous reptiles.
Beautiful
Snakes are wonderful nature creatures
The only mamba encountered in Gabon is Jameson's Mamba, which in reality is green and black with a yellow tail. He is rightly feared because, although he never attacks humans spontaneously, his bite is potentially fatal. Fortunately, it generally avoids human habitation and contact with people. It is arboreal, and feeds on small mammals such as squirrels, and birds. Snakes are not so scary!) thanks for the educational content.
Amazing that you have seen a Jameson’s mamba in Gabon. I would love to go visit those rainforests. Thanks for your kind words and watching
Right Black mamba might be the deadliest of the 4, but barley.
this country very intresting for me,wowww😍
GREAT VID. Interesting fact.. I accidentally discovered Dr Jamesons(the person the Mamba was named after) grave site. I walk my dogs past him almost every week... Unfortunately not a lot of people care or know much about him and as you can imagine there's not a lot of mambas in Edinburgh, but it still makes me smile in the freezing cold wet Scottish weather. Keep up the great work.
very beautiful nature and it is interesting to observe animals that you cannot see in your area
Spectacular nature that must be taken care of
i love that coffin shaped head.
Thanks for introducing me to Jameson's Mamba, it's amazing
Kaimosi is a rural township/area in Western Kenya at the edge of the subtropical Kakamega forest. The tree here is actually a guava.
mamba is almost invisible on the tree.
The mamba really looks very beautiful, attractive and it seems that it can do nothing wrong, but it turns out that it is a poisonous snake and it is hard to believe, especially since it hides so well in the trees that it is difficult to see it.
Mat hav you done research on the central ranges taipan in papau new guinea? It was said to take over the coastal taipan venom in the top 5.
@@jasonmanahan6188 I went looking for the central ranges taipan on the western side of the Mcdonnels range in central Australia. They don’t occur in Papua New Guinea. They are more venomous than the coastal taipan where the subcutaneous LD50 value of this species is 0.106 mg/kg, the Central ranges taipan has a LD50 measured on mice to be 0.075 mg/Kg
I stand corrected, they call it the papuan taipan.. I couldve sworn I saw vid saying it was a central ranges taipan😅
@@jasonmanahan6188 there is very little information about the Papuan taipan, it’s a subspecies of the costal taipan so I would assume the venom is similar. No LD50 rating is available for the subspecies.
For a real snake catcher, it's just already.
I think it is scary for tourists to spend the night in such an environment
I am very afraid of snakes
They weren't discovered the indigenous pple always knew of them till the white man comes and pushes the new name for the discovery
