    Dinosaurs are a testament to the incredible diversity of life on our planet. These massive creatures left a lasting impression, towering over the landscape with their tremendous size and strength. It's awe-inspiring to think about the power and majesty they possessed, and how they continue to capture our imagination even today.

    Actual top 10 biggest dinosaurs:
    1) ampicoelias fragillimus (maraapunisaurus)
    2) bruhathkayosaurus
    3) patagotitan
    4) Argentinosaurus
    5) breviparopus
    6) supersaurus
    7) puertasaurus
    8) dreadnoughtus
    9) sauroposeidon
    10) diplodocus (the seismosaurus is now considered to be a diplodocus species)
    Some of these genus of sauropods May be a bit vague as breviparopus was only known from some footprints and amphicoelias/maraapunisaurus fragillimus was only known from a lost fossil. The one I’d put my money on as the biggest dinosaur is patagotitan, since a near complete skeleton was found only in 2014, and the skeleton stretches over 120 feet. Feel free to add any other giant dinosaurs that I did not mention.
    Honorable mentions:
    - brachiosaurus
    - paralititan
    - apatosaurus
    - ultrasaurus

      Argentenosouras is the heaviest dinosaur ever.

    • @VIPERTRON
      @VIPERTRON 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lawpwe9676 Not really. We only have fragments of argentinosaurus as opposed to patagotitan which we have a much more complete skeleton of. It's hard to estimate weight based off only a few fossils

    • @lawpwe9676
      @lawpwe9676 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VIPERTRON how much do they weigh?

    • @VIPERTRON
      @VIPERTRON 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lawpwe9676 Most weight estimates aren't exact because we are basing the entire dinosaur off a few bones. Patagotitan is estimated to weigh around 70 - 80 tons. Argentinosaurus has higher estimates of 80 - 100 tons, and lower estimates of 50-70 tons. And maraapunisaurus / amphicoelias would weigh around 120 - 130 tons. Remember most of these estimates aren't exact.

    Ok, here it goes...
    10. Fair enough, but Giganotosaurus was only 7 tonnes.
    9. Carcharodontosaurus was NOT 15 tonnes! It was still 7 tonnes.
    8. Pliosaurs ARE NOT DINOSAURS! Plus no known Pliosaur was 45 tonnes, they were 12 tons at the most.
    7. Once again, plesiosaurs ARE NOT DINOSAURS!
    6. Its Spine lizard. Spinosaurus was so far not confirmed to be 10 to 12 tonnes, but it was suggested.
    5. It's not even a close to the biggest dinosaur, longest maybe.
    4. Its big, but still dwarfed by the Titanosaurs.
    3. Way too lightly built be on this list.
    2. It weighed less than 40 tonnes, not 50.

      We've had roughly 40 years worth of paleo-documentaries that clearly stated that Dinosaurs are animals that have ancestries traced through Archosauria and Avemetatarsalia, and should belong to either Saurischia or Ornithischia...and yet we are still having to do damage control when we see that there are still people that believe that merely being reptiles and living in the Mesozoic automatically makes them Dinosaurs.
