Still needs a gimbal for stove. It's not about the pan slipping off the stove, it's about the food sloshing out of the pan. WOW How can he not know that. Just saying!

Looks great! I do wonder about the stove (not) gimbling however? The pots may not slide ... but what about the contents? Won't they slosh - migrate up one side or the other?

IPY never fails to impress! So neat to see the thought process as a new design is created. Can't wait to see move videos of the 42's development.

This mock-up walkthrough is excellent! Any plans for a ketch version with shorter main mast? The mizzen could stand where the cockpit ice-maker door is and have an attached electric winch. Would only need to rotate the ice-maker door; plus the structural considerations.

I think I'd look into the sheet tails going into the described chart table to keep them out of the cabin ... ?

What will the max headroom be? I am 6 foot nine and about to give up finding a boat..

So great to see the interior mock up. thanks for sharing! In the upper salon port side, will there be an optional forward facing bench seat (with reversible backrest)?

Great concept walkthrough. I look forward to more info for the MS. I have a few observations. I agree with other commenters that the gimballed oven/stove is necessary. I also see a significant safety/ergonomic issue with sheets tails from the central winch. Where will they stow? The bifold door & powered window to the cockpit have me a little concerned about getting pooped. It’s inevitable that the cockpit will take on water. These new access points look great but seem a little susceptible to taking water into the cabin. Any chance that there will be power options such as the Hybrid Marine / Yanmar combo for propulsion & power-gen? Best of luck with the new line!

While relocating my IPY 485 from Annapolis to FL I cooked often, gimble stove really is a big deal. Intercostal travel was fairly low key but out in the ocean with waves, equal lines, you really need a gimble. Maybe make it an option for a new owner to adapt their stove.
For some it could be a deal breaker
