This is definitely one of the underrated songs of the KH series. Such emotion put into this song, as you can only imagine the confusion Terra, Aqua, and Ventus feel.
The fact that both Dark Impetus and Master Tell Me The Truth have been done so much justice from these covers makes me want to hear your take on Enter the Void so badly. Much as Vanitas Remnant can be annoying, his theme slaps and barely gets any love from the community. Would absolutely adore to hear a remix of it from you if you ever get around to doing another BBS cover. ❤
OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS Long story short, I have a KH3 rewrite AU where Eraqus is the final boss, and the minute the opening kicked in, I KNEW. This is what would play in that exact scenario.
Just amazing. I have an idea of KH3 Final Mix, where you actually get to play through Yozora's trials up to and including his fight with Sora. Said trials could include Data fights with the other Guardians of Light and their associates (Roxas, Terra, Yen Sid, even Donald and Goofy). The last fight before Sora would be against Data Eraqus, and this song would fit *perfectly.*

It is unfathomable how this slipped between my fingers. The most underrated superboss in the entire series with an incredible theme and you somehow expand upon, adding references to other tunes that amplify the emotional weight of the encounter. Amazing.Thank you, IR!
This isn't the theme for the battle against Master Eraqus. That uses "Terra", which is its own kick*ss theme. *This* is the theme of the bonus boss, Armor of Eraqus, from the Mirage Arena's second hardest battle. Third hardest, if you count the wall separating you from No Heart.
Armor of Eraquis is probably one of the best fights in birth by sleep next to No Heart. Just teetering on that point before the bosses just become really unfun to fight like Vanitus Sentament and You know who.
