Other news, they "updated" pity.... it still takes 330 rolls for it BUT now there is no more limit to pity. So for example, you hit pity at 330 and currently pity leaves for that banner... now it doesn't. So you could reach pity again at 330 and get the servant again. So there is an actual limit an uber whale would need to spend to get a servant. Also, they said that Part 2 ends next year, so it's almost done. And yes, Eresh is the Anniv servant. Just like Tonelico was from last year.
I heard about the updated pity and yeah it's just a feature for whales or people who like maxing the np levels of characters. I'm just hoping for a lower pity count in the 10th Anniversary. What do you think will happen after Part 2 ends. New story?
@@QuincSay Hopefully, yes but I'm not sure. I mean, how long do they intend to keep FGO alive? Just part two has been going for 7 years and it should end at 8 years. So part 3 will be another 8 years? Will they actually keep pumping servants for another 8 years? Or will they make something new with an updated engine? Hopefully, if they make something new, they'll let us keep some of our stuff. Losing everything wouldn't be the best option if they try to go for FGO 2 or something like that.
Yea, it would be very bad if they decide to start new and not let us keep the characters we have. That's the only reason why I feel like they should start something new but do it in such a way that we can have all the servants that we have gotten.
I am happy for you since you are an Eresh fan. I am glad we got an eresh summer version but I am kinda disappointed for myself that we didn't get Camazotz or U olga marie. I really wanted those two as an anniversary servant.
Yea, I am very happy with Eresh but I can understand the frustration of others who wanted a different Anniversary servant. I would have been happy even if they released Space Eresh in the Summer banner 2. Don't know why they didn't do that. As for Camazotz and Olga, I feel like it's a matter of time. In no way are they going to let go of an opportunity to make them servants since they are so popular.
I mean U-Olga was obviously never going to be the Anniversary Servant given the ongoing thing on JP involving her. It's obvious until thats done she's not going to be summonable, probably planning something special. Same for Camezotz, he feels more like a Servant that would debut for something more story related, a Main interlude perhaps?

I wish they dont just throw new anniversary servants like this without much of a story as to why they just decided to be summoned in chaldea all of the sudden. They could have bundled her with you know... SABER WARS 3 FOR EXAMPLE!.
Isn't the point of Anniversary Servants that there Servants just summoned without an explanation? Archetype Earth definitely hasn't gotten any story on why she was summoned and I know Castoria and Koyanskaya were not expected when they debuted.
@@maniacguy7899 You do know that the stories are written in advance right?. Ever since ani7, they just kept throwing ani servants to the players regardless the rules and lore of the World the story was set.

I can see the opinions about this Anniversary being heavily divided and I can understand why. They could have released her in banner 2 of Summer and I still would have been happy. Don't know why they decided to make her the Anniversary servant when we have the Summer event starting after Anniversary

I think it's just a matter of time that Saber Wars 3 happens. Due to Eresh's popularity they probably decided to release her in Anniversary
