Annual Black Friday bass tournament on Douglas lake. Top 10 finish out of nearly 100 boats!

- Parker and I go fish the annual Black Friday tournament on Douglas lake. My brother and Shane Wolfe run this event each year and this was the biggest yet! It was a tough start to our day but we kept our heads up and moved around until we found them. We caught our fish super shallow on bladed jigs on flats and isolated wood. I’m pretty sure Parker ended up with more of our weigh in fish than I did! So proud of him!!!

I can remember fishing tournaments with my dad when I was around that age.... tons of fun and some of my best memories!!!

One of the best videos I've seen. Parker is an awesome young angler and a good rapper. Making FatCat proud. I did pucker up a bit on some of those shallow rapids. Not sure you could even get a Kayak over those, WOW!!!!

Congrats Parker! Good job! Ott, you are an amazing dad. I can remember my earliest fishing trips with my dad. That was so fun to watch even though I can imagine it can be tough having him fishing with you when those competitive juices start flowing and you don't want to slow down. You guys made some awesome memories and congrats on finishing in the money!

You teach him how to read a graph and he’s gonna give you a run for your money in the near future lol. You the best ott. Teach your son to do the same. Only wish I could do the same. Best time spent is teaching the kids.

We have 2 days of practice before the event starts. It’s middle of April I think.

It’s a rule in a lot of team events really. At least around here. I get it in some ways, but if you’re fishing with your child then seems like they might cut some slack.

Fished against you when I was younger, can't remember if it was your brother or father as your team partner, but we would have wanted to fish of our fathers were professionals.. Now if you were fishing with your brother? Completely understand.. But Parker, just a silly rule. Esp if your not n the 4 big trails for points which u wouldn't be...
