Looking good bro, 125 is a good bike to build your riding skills before stepping up into 600cc inline 4, as it is very forgiving. You can push yourself when practicing cornering/knee down.
This bike IS slow. BUT as a beginner you won't care that it's slow. It's fun to ride regardless. Looking back though, a 250 would be a better beginner choice in my opinion because of its highway capability and they don't have those dinky tires.
