It was a salvage yard! I have never shopped at place like this before!
I have to say I was MORE impressed than I thought I would!
There were some amazing finds both vintage and antiques!
I do hope you enjoy today's shop with us!

I love the turtle 🐢 with the chandelier cup. It popped on screen and the word "Precious," uncontrollably came out of my mouth. I think some clear crystal dangles would just add cuteness

So much fun. Like going to an amazing museum. Please show us the turtle lamp when you finish! I think you made the best choice you could hang tiny little glass dragonflies around it, magical.

Richard is expanding Michael’s interests, and I love it ‼️
I love reclaimed salvage places. A small section of gingerbread can transform a room or porch. So much to see, I could get lost in this for hours.
Great get on the mercury candlesticks! The electric lighter should be easy to rework into a lamp , I love it!! My favorite of course was the clown sprinkler 🙃‼️
Thank you Richard and Michael for taking us to the salvage shop, it was so enjoyable. 🫶🏼

I was totally blown away with this excursion even became breathless with a lot of it. Richard has exquisite taste. My favorite item was the boy on the turtle, I loved him most with the green slag shade. It made him tumultuous like riding the sea. I hope you and Richard are able to convert him into a lamp but if you can't then he would be a shoe stopping piece on display.

Thank you Richard and Michael. I have always loved traveling back in time, seeing architectural pieces from forgotten times. My addiction is the wrought iron in the second barn. The decorative trim that accentuated the outside of homes. I live at the Beach in South Jersey and there are numerous Widow’s Walks on the tops of old and historic homes. The wife would go up to the roof and try to see her husband’s ship coming back from a voyage. Regardless, if the husband died at sea, or the ship never returned, it was their way of honoring their beloved husband. Now back to 2023, loved your items, have Fun with that lamp! ❤️👍❤️

Holy Moly!! That was freaking fabulous! I wanted to crawl into the screen and be there. I usually watch on my phone but when you guys opened the door to the first building, I ran to my TV to watch this tour. Beautiful! I dream of what it was like in those beautiful old mansions.
If you haven't yet, you must tour the Biltmore Mansion.
Thank you for sharing a different world of antiques and vintage. I hope you find more of these places.

The Turtle Boy Lighter, if wired correctly, will only switch “on” when lifted up from whatever surface it is placed on. This means that if you place a lightbulb in the socket, it will only operate if you pick it up. This is a safety measure (even though it might be considered quite unsafe anyway) so that the little heating element would only turn on long enough while holding it in your hand to light a cigarette or cigar. Imagine how many fires something like this could have started!

There is beauty in so many old things, so much of which is thrown away or destroyed. I loved the yard clown!! I would have pulled my pennies together to get it, thank you Richard for your whimsical touch! I laughed so hard, how cool would that look in one's yard going 'round and 'round! Loved it all!
