Hi! This week I wanted to make something to wear on Valentines day. Pink was a must color and I wanted to paint hearts, but I didn't want the design to be just plain heart design. I had wanted to make a butterfly wing design a while back, because I like the patterns butterflies have in their wings, but thought it was too summery for this time of year. Now, when planning a Valentines day design, I thought maybe I could paint hearts to look like butterfly wing patterns, outlined in white. This is what I came up with, a french tip design for Valentines day, hope you like it and try it out for your dates! xx

Thank you! But actually it's not hard at all! If you use acrylic paint, you can erase your mistakes with water and if you make mistakes in the white outlining, you can just go over the hearts again with pink like I did in the video :)

Hi Sandy! Thank you for your comment! I painted the hearts with acrylic paint, but you can totally paint them with nails polish too :)

Yiu can use regular nail polish instead of acrylic paint. I just like painting with acrylics because it's faster and easier :)

Does acrylic pain dry fast or nail polish dry faster?

Acrylic paint dries way faster than nail polish. You basically don't have to wait for your nails to dry between the steps, because after you are finished painting one step, the paint is already dried and you can continue with the next step :)

What brand of brushes do you use? And what are the names of them? I'd love to get some

The brush is bought locally from China. The brand is in chinese so I don't know what it is called. The size is 0 though. But any small brush will work and you can even make one yourself out of household items. I have a video of how to make your own nail art tools, check it out if you're interested. You can find it from my channel :)
