OMG this by far is my favorite episode. I felt like I was in the room with y’all. @politicsandfashion had me almost in tears because I can relate to be being that dark skin girl who felt that I wasn’t pretty enough. Jeneè please continue doing these fun interviews. May God continue to bless both of you.
I have throughly enjoyed all of the episodes but this one by far is my favorite. Tashira’s personality is infectious and her sense of humor had me in tears 😂😂. You and Tashira were great together. Loved this one❤

I luv Tashira, she is GORGEOUS!!! I love collecting vintage sneakers, but am not really into fashion. Stumbled into “Politics & Fashion” on TH-cam and am so happy. I now fully understand what my nieces and baby cousins love about fashion (2yrs ago my 13yr old niece asked for Bottega boots for her birthday outfit, I never heard of the brand - thankfully her dad understood the request and got her the tire boots). Today, I have a Bottega bag 😊. More than this, I’ve learned about Black designers by watching Tashira. I have a pair of Savant & Scholar sunglasses (because of Tashira). Now, I’m encouraging younger family members to buy or ask older family members to purchase items from Black designers along with their regular requests for Gucci, Balenciaga, Fendi, Bottega, etc.,

Yes, I just had a conversation with someone about how you can dog whistle a generation and influence them to a cultural shift via images, and messaging to sway their politics. Many don't even catch it! Love this whole conversation. It is also a return to a "Western" "Conservative - removed from "cultural diversity" aesthetic.
