Hsieh is so fun to watch; she's like the ultimate junk baller consistently playing different slices, spins, and lobs in matches. Must be so tough to get any sort of rhythm against her.
This is so nice to see. What a lovely, humble and dedicated player with a great attitude. Totally lacks strength, but has such persistent staying power. Well done to her.
@@MarcSummers1 I mean she does not put a lot of speed on her serve or ground strokes. She is not a hard hitter. Her strength lies elsewhere, e.g. keeping the ball in play, using angles, varying the opponent's pace and setting up points. I'm not saying she is a weak/bad player. I'm saying the opposite. But also stating that she doesn't use pace and muscle strength to overpower her opponent.
The only time I get to watch a match like this is when I can scrounge it up from TH-cam 6 months after the fact. I didn't even know this had happened, and certainly would not have expected it.
So much love and admiration for this woman ! 😍😍 She always plays with grace and decontraction ... so great to watch her ! You deserve to win more titles in the future ! May God bless you in your career !
My favorite tennis player of all time. The fact that Hsieh can beat a player like Osucka is what makes sport so great. A finely tuned champion bested by a uniquely crafted vet. There will never be another player like Hseih Su-Wei, she is under appreciated and under rated. All hale Hseih!
Xiao Wei is actually more than a decade older than Osaka although she doesnt look much older so in terms of physique, Osaka is definitely one up. However in terms of court experience, shot composure, Xiao Wei is the veteran here. Showed the crowd who the better player truly is. Great match✌️👍
Both are great tennis players with high sportsmanship. I think Hsieh is very unique player and her outstanding quality should've earned her a few Grand Slam Championships already. I don't understand why it hasn't happened yet.
Not sure why Hsieh hasn't won a Grand Slam title, as unique, smart and talented player as she is. Not just the variety of shots in her repertoire, but she also reads her opponents very well and early, and that helps her produce high number of effective shot making decisions, and she makes smart shot decisions. She is outstanding. These are the keys for a tennis great. There's no doubt Hsieh has a Grand Slam winner quality. But, why hasn't she won one??
Hsieh is not only a great player, but an important event in women's tennis. The unrelenting trend toward huge women blasters, of which Osaka is one, needs a balance, a return to pure skill and speed. And Hsieh is even more than that. Her amazing two-handed forehand shots are unprecedented. Osaka is great, and I like her game--better, really than Serena's. Too bad the stadium is empty.
Hsieh's physique is barely adequate for table tennis. Classic case of cleverness over power. Hsieh took Naomi's power out of the equation by placing the ball in the middle when Naomi was not on the run!
20:39 Jenkins is Osaka's new coach. He's a better fit for Osaka in the early development of her career. He has a more calming personality; less confrontational than Sasha.
In Naomi's play, there are a body of the father heirloom and a Japanese spirit of the mother heirloom. The atmosphere of play is a Japanese very thing though might not understood by her.
I would like to ask a question for anyone that’s knowledgeable in this area thanks. The elite round robin is taking place before the top eight championships. And I noticed that if Kiki Burtons wins the elite championship she would be in the top eight. So does this mean that the top eight have not been determined yet for the year end championships? And didn’t they have the elite championships after the top eight championships last year? Thanks.
PaulDA2000 this is a late reply but the whole thing with Bertens is that Serena was there but she left and Kiki came and got the spot Serena would have had if she had remained. First alternate.
Women's tennis usually commit too much "Serve Failures", that are quite often too long. And they stand so much close to the endline to hit the serve ball. Why they don't stand 1-2-3 feet away from the end line to hit the serve ball? Is there a rule for the players to stand the end line as close as possible but not into the court? By standing, say 1 foot, or 2 feet from the end line, they surely reduce the failed serve balls that hit court "out of end line? I observe the ball always pass the net 1-2 feet higher tham the net line, the serve balls won't fly too low unabling clear the net. I wish someone would be kind enought to explain me to for my doubt for player standing too close and failing so often. . Thank you.
Poncho Gp Are u fucking kidding?! Be happy they’re even uploading it at all. Talk about entitlement! ATP only uploading 7 or 8 minute highlights at the very most, and even they’ve taken years to accept that they should be doing more for the public and finally doing it better to keep fans happy who have no way of ever being able to afford a tennis tv subscription or cable television, like me. Thankfully, they’re doing a lot more than they used to, making good compilations of tournament shots through the years now, interesting videos and putting more spotlight on unique players. But it may be some time before they upload full classic matches, let alone recent matches.
To new tennis cadets out there: You wanna hit? Hit like Hsieh, Hsieh Su-Wei, Hsieh Su-Wei. You wanna sneak? Sneak like Hsieh, Hsieh Su-Wei, Hsieh Su-Wei. You wanna plei? Plei like Hsieh, Hsieh Su-Wei, Hsieh Su-Wei, Wait a second. Hsieh's skirt is too short. That's not good. Too provocative.
Hsieh does not play like Hsieh at all. And the more errors she makes the less confident she becomes. You can read it on her face. This is a lucky match for Osaka, up until the 2nd set tie break, that is.

yah she's funny but always ends up loosing at the end
Osaka vs Hsieh is such a great rivalry. And how can you not like Su Wei Hsieh!!
How To Sims I prefer Hsieh over Osaka.
I'm loving these full matches, WTA! Even better, it's a Hsieh match! Thank you.
why there are few audiences cheering for heish when she won the 2nd tiebreak,I'm so proud of her!💓
Hsieh might be my favorite player on tour now. Serve is not very good but otherwise creates effortless power so easily.
This is so nice to see. What a lovely, humble and dedicated player with a great attitude. Totally lacks strength, but has such persistent staying power. Well done to her.
She beat #1. btw I think she actually has strong forehand, backhand and serve.
Yeah, if she can play at this level I seriously doubt she has no strength.

Love to watch Hsieh's match. She has so much clarity where to accurately put the ball back to her opponent
Hsieh is SUCH a smart, accurate player. SO much fun to watch.

im smiling watching hsieh won this match.. i dont know why.. im just happy for her
thanks for spoiling the match ..
@@anitasseo ah yes because looking at the comments and not expecting to see praise for the winner is smart
I like the fact there are more competitive matches in the WTA now.
Hsieh is a TOUGH cookie yas! Her creativity on the court is so entertaining honestly.

love both players..come back stronger Naomi
In a crowd of hard hitting base liners, this is so refreshing to watch.
AO Tennis 2021. I'm here reviewing her past matches. Hsieh is playing Naomi Osaka in the QF's AO 2021 tomorrow i think, omg.
Hsieh like to beat high ranking player, she is a wonderful woman!

Hsieh the magician 😘🌹😍
I love this match so much. Women single No.1 & women doubles No. 1 . Good for you both. Marvellous .

Wish the commentary team could simply mimic the umpire's pronunciation of Ms HSIEH's family name
This Taiwannese lady always be danger any rank tennis player ..well done
Osaka emotions ruin the day
Gotta control that Naomi
And
Not to deminish Su-Wei at all, she played outstanding
Congrats Su-Wei
I love her all the Wei!
Tennis is NOT about mindless bashing of tennis balls and grunting! Great win for the underdog!
Hsieh's physique is barely adequate for table tennis. Classic case of cleverness over power. Hsieh took Naomi's power out of the equation by placing the ball in the middle when Naomi was not on the run!
I love you HSIEH!
Hsieh is on the way to No.1 ranking. Greatness has nothing to do with sponsorships. The treasure of Taiwan !
Hsieh has such a style.. She dances in the court

Hsieh Su-Wei, Felicitaciones !!
Hsieh Su-Wei is the best!!! Hurrah for Hsieh!!!!! Brilliant performance :-)
Probably the only tennis match I watched more than once full
Yes!!! I'm glad this was posted.
Definitly i thought right in the first set hsei ll be defeated undoubtedly .. then come back in final
Set ..she won game ..!!!
小薇超棒棒👍辛苦了😂支持妳👍台灣之光👍🇹🇼
another full match...yes!
Wonderfull u strong 🥰 hsieh
Please upload halep vs hsieh wimbledon FULL MATCH!
For real
They can’t as they don’t work with the grandslams or the federation cup.
Hsieh is god gifted cause she pay his coach while other is running his obligation.
In Naomi's play, there are a body of the father heirloom and a Japanese spirit of the mother heirloom. The atmosphere of play is a Japanese very thing though might not understood by her.
love Hsieh
I love Hseith
These two women are setting the standard of what wta should be watch out Serena
Hsieh Su-Wei should have a sponsor like Synnex Technology International. They would be happy to have a native daughter like her as their benefactor
Ultimate pusher. Her racket must strung very tightly to get accuracy like that.

Hsieh Su-Wei 伊達さんみたいで良いです。
パワーだけでなく、頭を使って早いタイミングでコースを突いて攻める!
i want her to win a grand slam!
Watch out here she comes
Hsieh is the best
Hat's off to Naomi for saving a bug. It's honorable, as the commentator has well put it.
Hsieh!Hsieh!Hsieh!
Chinese Taipei!? Wtf had to google that; so you're saying she's Taiwanese?
For some reason, I just don’t like the vibe that Osaka is giving off. Prefer Hsieh’s humble vibe and smart tactics. Rooting for her.
What vibe does Osaka give
so nice match this is the very good game of tennis

Hsieh changes the position of her hands depending on whether she'll hit a backhand or forehand. I think this is a weakness.
There is someone who can tell me who the two blacks are that I always see in the Osaka staff
This tournament concluded in March, it is now end of May. WTA need to sack their social media team.
Well... They did it on purpose. What Did expect ? The full match the day after ?
Yeah i feel like we should be grateful that the match was posted, especially since it’s not like they “needed” to post it
