Faeroer isles hazardous cliff tour 2010

Next Costa Luminosa called on Thorshavn, Faroer islands. In the fishing village of Vestmanna we boarded a boat which took us along the cliffs. It was a rough sea and the boat rolled on the waves. I had difficulty in not being swept with my camera from one side to the other, but I managed.

Thanks to skilful manoeuvring we never touched the rocks. By being so in touch with the waves one gets less seasick than staying inside. The last time I called on Faroer this trip was not offered anymore!

did people get sea sick on the boat? isn t the boat a lttle too close to the cliffs? looks kind of scary,....
