You probably can re-sell the fan or keep it as spare for when it really breaks. Normally its a good practice to check first before purchasing any parts.
hi! my 2011 car overheated (170k km, stock condition), sent to workshop. the workshop checked the radiator was not leaking. changed the fan motor connector and both radiator+AC fan motor (as the fan was not moving). it was fine for 3 days' drive, but the overheating re-occur. had to refill close to 3litre of water through the radiator cap and tank.
There is a slight chance that your engine head is warped from the initial overheating. If that is true then the only solution is to do a top overhaul and skim the engine head so its flat again. But check on other things first like: - radiator cap - thermostat - are both the fan moving fast enough - is the radiator fins blocked

My lancer got this problem also...the socket burned just like yours....i dont know where to find the parts,i came up with an idea...i directed the wire without socket... Now, almost 11 years...my fan works without socket..just directed the wire..
As long as it works, it works. just a bit more hassle when the motor burns and you will need to direct the wire to the new motor. Otherwise, its a perfectly working solution. And cost no money.

First you need to disconnect the socket and see if its burned. If burned, change. if not burned, take a multimeter and check if there is voltage going thru. if no, then check on your electrical. If yes, the its most likely your fan motor that needs replacement. Not a 100% guide but will serve as a starting point.

Not yet done with the soundproofing. Still got a few more areas to soundproof. I will elaborate on what i feel have improved on the final video of the sound proofing series. Don't think video would be able to capture the difference between before and after soundproofing.
A rattling dashboard is among the hardest thing to solve since a dashboard is made of hundreds of different parts. One way is to have someone drive the car and you sit at the passenger side and try to find the source of rattling by pressing here and there.
I got problem when my a.cond warm while stationery.. I noticed the fan on dvr side is not working.. When sent to nearest wshop.. they check all relay.. n wiring.. at last the mechanic claim both acond&radiator fan motor is not working.. Is it possible both fan out@birn at the same time.? Pls advice.. coz i hold my inspira at wshop.. before ask them to replaced both fan motor that definitely cost me about Rm500-700 tq!
There is that possibility that both fan burned but rare. But there is also a possibility that both socket burned. If both socket has been checked and not burned. You can take a voltmeter to it and check if current is going thru the socket. Once its confirmed that there is current going thru the socket, you can try to connect power directly to the fan bypassing the socket. If the fan does not turn, then its confirmed that the fan most likely burned. Another not so proven way to test is by manually turning the fan with your hand and see if it turns freely or if there is a lot of resistance. If a lot of resistance, most likely the fan motor bearing is toasted from overheating.

but my inspira does not have powered seats. And I don't remember seeing anyone having them as well. But based on my experience on using power seats in my Alphard..... the old fashion manual way is much faster.
Watch your radiator fan cable replacement video, was that cable work as sensor too ?. My inspira 2011 having the air cond issue, the car stop for a while, the air cond stated become less cooler but after off and on the air cond switch in the cabin, it becomes cool again ( by the way the air cond fans is running and the magnetic clucth is working as well.). Can cable replacement help or other part than need to check beside fans motor, magnetic clucth and relay. Please advice
If both the fans are running, then there is no issue with your fan motor and cable. The cable is just carrying a 12V power to the motor to turn. But if it is corroded, then it may be bringing lesser watts than required for the fan motor to spin at full capacity. So.... some of the things I would suggest you check is (but not definitive) - whether the fan is operating at capacity - whether the cable is corroded a not Also, when your air cond is less cold, is the magnetic clutch engaged and the fans turning? Do you have sufficient Freon gas? What's the Hi and Low reading? When was the last time the AC system was serviced? a lot more to check but this will be a start. Worst case scenario, a compressor replacement might be needed.

By the way one fans is APM (to condenser) 1 year old replacement and another is original (to radiator) 1 month old replacement. How to check if the fans is running at full capacity . I ruled out the compressor as the air-cond guy said it is in good condition. Gas reading also good. Air-cond guy has no clue what are the causes.
When your car have stopped for awhile and the AC becomes less cooler, look at our magnetic clutch and see if its engaging. Also, when the magnetic clutch engages, does both the fan spins together. Next test, when idling and AC becomes less cooler, try revving your engine to 3k RPM and see if the air becomes cooler.

After changing the socket, till now have not had any problem. Motor still running strong, new socket have no signs of being burned again.

My lancer got this problem also...the socket burned just like yours....i dont know where to find the parts,i came up with an idea...i directed the wire without socket...
Now, almost 11 years...my fan works without socket..just directed the wire..

Correction it is APM fans's motor and original fans's motor
