Stellar Blade is ShiftUp's upcoming first AAA game. Formerly known as Project EVE, its official publishing title was revealed on September 13th, 2022. Stellar Blade is still in development, with producer Jackie Lee informing the press that there has been "a lot of progress on the title" since the initial announcement on April 3rd, 2019. It was announced for PC (Steam), PS4 and Xbox One in 2019, but was recently advertised as a PS5 console exclusive on September 13th, 2022. While it seems now that Xbox is officially out of the works, it is currently unclear if ShiftUp still has any plans to bring the title to Steam.

The musical score is fitting for what is shown and the physics for the hair is stunning. I came after hearing the controversy but I don't see any problem with the main chars model hell the actual model herself I believe was a great choice.
the most terrible thing is that this is a scanned real girl. But the Western community is already so ignorant that they don't care who they offend. As long as it's not a minority and not homeless. I hope the game will blow up everything like G3 or Niger, and the scaffold over the heads of Western developers will move down a couple of centimeters again.

This looks amazing, its about time Sony gave this some more coverage & a release date.
it could look alot better and get some things hopefully fixed by the tiem the game gets closer to gettign finalyl release... for example the ugly clipping of her long hair through her boddy, thus physics shoudl get improve... weapon design coluld get improved and animations..they really dont look very impressive, that sword looks boring af and as genereric as it can get only, like designed by a 6yo kid ..the movements should get hopefully alot more faster and fluent ..no blood, no pain..she gets slammed massively to the groudn and gets basicalyl her whole guts ripped out of her belly, and staps up just a secodn later, as if freakign NOTHING happened to her right now... things liek this are extremely immersion breaking, a bit more realism can't hurst this game - and with this i don#t mean naturally any form of hyper realism, but at least enough, that you can feel n see her in pain, if you get brutally smacked by enemies around or hit so hard, that any normal beign shoudl be instantly dead normally by that ...if you get fataly wounded
I hope the next time we see more about this game, it will have improved in these kinds of aspects alot.. and the UI could also hopefully receive a more beautiful looking glow up definetely ... than just supoer boring 3 tiny bars ...that tell you nothign about what is for what..other than logically the highest one is basically naturall the Health Bar.
They shpudl also show next time alot more about the actual game features of Stellar Blade and the Character Progression, you know, the actual MEAT on the bone of a game, that shows you, what you can do all with your Character you will play aroudn with for the next like 30-60+ hours, because thats somwething they havent shown yet in all the time... so far the game got presented only as a generic button mashing Action Game with a nice looking hyper sexy protagonist and hyper jigglign titties and a bubble butt to dream about :D because we all know, sex sells
and remove their stealing from the pc version..
@GENERALSG01 I was hoping that it would still be available for PC, I rather play it on p c but unfortunately Sony is greedy plus that's not the only thing Sony will be removing.
Notice Eve has a lot of jiggle physics movements on her body. Witch Sony going to get them to tone it down some or completely removed it from her.
It's game supposed to get released this year, but I think most likely it will get delayed.
@LostDreams916 it's called exclusive, unfortunately the PC master race can't have everything. Even though you feel that important lol. Go buy yourself a console. That's the reason I don't own a PC nothing I want to play is on that platform regardless of power. Specs mean nothing games do.

Wow, I have to give this props. This looks amazing! I really like the gore and the hacking and slashing in this game! There's been soo many games where the enemies all feel "heavy" in the sense when you hit them, it feels like they eating whatever you throw at them..
Here in Project Eve, Eve is shown acrobatically slicing these bosses and enemies into chunks and ribbons..
The brutality is splendid!
She tears her opponents apart with such precision and maneuver quite nimbly.
Similar to my boy, Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden! Man, I miss the hell out of that game!

I agree, it's not satisfying when the enemy barely reacts to your hits. I just finished streaming Lies of P and I'm eating it up. The setting is gorgeous and the story is interesting...but the combat is what I'm really enjoying. Very soulslike but not quite as punishing (if you like super hard games, great, but some of us get very sore hands if we have to fight that intensely all the time)

Why there hasn't been more coverage about about this game is because they're so busy censoring the shit out of it.
Shift Up studio?! Heck yeah, from the makers of Nikke, they make the BEST female character designs, not afraid to make them sexually attractive, nowadays we get too many box shaped female characters, more female characters that look like females needed in good games.
They did a phenomenal job fine tuning the game in the short span of time from this trailer to release (beta even). Very impressed how awesome the sound effects ended up becoming. Whole package in general is a miracle for a new studios and old these days, keep it up SHIFTUP!

Beta confirms it for me. I have replayed the boss challenge over and over and over. I slice him to bits and it’s all so brutal and beautiful feel to it. Been waiting for a game like this for a long time. DMC always had a little too much to the controls for me but this feels great. God of War combo inputs for a seriously sexy slick DMC aesthetic!!
All good. BUT definitely needs to boost both the weapon damage and hit effect/feedback!
I am a little bit disappointed by the combat speed and the lacking hit feedback :/ main character looks good though.

The gameplay and the soundtrack is really good!... I feel like people who loved Neir Automata will be eating this up! The character looks fantastic as well... through in outfits and i think this will be a hit! Excited for this.

I stopped buying Sony products in 2018 when they enacted their awful censorship policies , and started censoring things like DMC 5 and the like (while other consoles left the game as-is).
So I have little hope of this game getting to the US untouched by SOA censoring (or as they will call it "updating for western audience sensibilities").
IF they bring this game to the US untouched, I will go ahead and buy a PS5 for the game. We will see, I highly doubt Sony of America is gonna let this one by without messing it up
They didnt even show the best part. That feeling blocking an enemy combo with only perfect parrys is a feeling not replicated in alot of games

I can't believe that with so much graphic advancement, the hair crossing the body hasn't been solved.
Hair was solved nearly a decade ago, it’s just so demanding most developers abandoned it. TressFX and Hairworks had it where every individual hair was physics based, it just tanks all but the meatiest GPUs.

The game is fantastic, and it is a hack and slash game which is my favorite genre, but for me it would be better if the add and impact to her attack since i can only see a fashy sword slicing the enemy but i dont feel the impact it causes to her sword
A little hit stop would be good. Just a tiny freeze for a couple.of frames. But maybe they'll handle all that with haptics
