As far as I know, these saws have the same engine as Husqvarna owns Jonsered. The 21 series was the last with Jonsered's own engines. But I'm not completely sure if it applied to all engines.
got the jonsered 2045 same engine and parts as the husqvarna saw its all in the exhaust and tune mine is modded exhaust and tuned would cut circles around a stock husky

The husky requires hearing protection and the jonny doesn't.
