1978 Kawasaki KZ650 FOR SALE Johnnys

34219 Miles. Frame# KZ650B-509216, Engine# KZ650BE062253. We bought this bike earlier last summer and are just now getting to it. We replaced the starter clutch, and many gaskets have been replaced, tires are good, new rubber plug in headlamp, it has a decent Kerker header. Not original paint, there is a crack on tail section as shown. Original tool kit and manual, new seat cover new battery, carburetor clean, new handlebar switches, new grips, new starter clutch. Oil and filter change, new spark plugs, engine gaskets, new carb-to-air filter boots. Speedo has dent as shown, perhaps from a front fairing mounted at one time. Had a 79, which was pretty much identical even down to the Kerker header. I removed the baffle so if I ever saw a cop I would stick the front of my boot in the pipe until I got passed.😊I also added a Gerex electronic ignition to get rid of the points. Thanks for the video.

How come you have all these Z650's? This must be the third or fourth one you've shown for sale....One of these would be perfect for my needs, but I live in New Zealand. They're a great 'getaround' for daily use. Did the other ones sell and what sort of price for a daily rider?

I've collected many Kawasakis over the years. After 40 years in business, we are thinning out the herd, as we will never be able to ride them all. All that we have offered have sold. This one we are speaking of is $2500.

glenpiller9417, we never checked the valves; however the bike runs great. Perhaps we can look into it.
