    Just got it today at Scheels here in Colorado Springs, and they priced matched some bicycle store in Seattle ($70 savings, knocked it down to $529 and they applied my military discount as well!). Your reviews and videos made it an easy choice for me (wife made it not so easy, but I bought for her, really I did!).

    it's a great device for the right situation. I bought one Day 1 in Australia. in my shed (metal frame, concrete floor) it was terrible. If you use it outside etc, it's great. I sold mine and got a Skytrak (which was far more suitable for my needs) Also, you can use the R10 with GS Pro which is TONS better than E6. (cheaper too)

      Thanks for posting this comment as I had planned to set it up in a "pole barn" Morton type building here in the US. Surprisingly I went to the Garmin web site chat option and they volunteered that this type of building might cause reflection issues.

      Download e6 Connect. You should then be able to put in your Garmin product code and pair it to the app, and get 6 courses for free.

      @@breakingeighty thank you! I'll give it a try when it arrives. Love the video!

    Exactly right, I've even looked at three posts by you in thinking about the R10 - and by the way never tell you wife your paying $800 to buy a golf product, as it's bad enough trying to buy just a golf shirt! hahaha

    The flightscope mevo is currently on sale for $350 which is making my buying decision really hard. With the mevo at $350 and the Garmin at $600, which would you recommend?

    Got mine 3 weeks ago. Great for launch direction,launch angle, ball speed. Home tee is ok but only 5 e6 courses is a bummer, but yes. Get this or memo plus. I don’t have 2 grand. I got a new iPad runs e6 great. Regular cheap iPad too not air or pro

    Love your stuff keep it up! I should be getting mine today. Have you done a review of "Awesome Golf" Would love to know if you think it is worth the cost. $349 for lifetime down from $600 seems good. What do you think?

      I actually haven't used it personally. Frankly, for the type of stuff I like to use a launch monitor for, I think it looks, well, awesome ha. Will hopefully review it soon.

    Sean...what about the Ernest Sports ES B1 launch monitor at a $ 500 price range? Have you tried it and do a comparison...Thanks....

    Hi Sean, Great review. Just a pointer, clean the smudges off your R10 and Phone screens. Would look a bit more professional. Otherwise loved it.

    I was totally that person that needed a little push. For months I have been that person. Very early this morning, couldn’t sleep, I bought it. At “Play Better”. Should be here in a few days. 😜

    Will the R10 work on Android devices? Any deficiencies with Android vs. iOS
    platform?

  • @crackers127

    I have the budget for the memo plus but would you recommend the r10 over that?

    • @aarodful
      @aarodful 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to do more serious sim with a more professional product, go with the Mevo. The Garmin is a much better value though as you are essentially spending $1000 more for about 5% more accuracy and some more professional software. If you are a casual golfer, get the garmin and save the money IMO. Ultimately it's up to you and what you are looking for though. You can always get the garmin, sell it used and upgrade later.
      The biggest difference to me is the garmin doesn't directly measure spin. That is where the slight innacuracies and sometimes misses come from on the garmin. The mevo does better with spin.

    Would you recommend the R10 if you only have access to android products to run it on?

    What about the Rapsodo? Isn't more accurate and $100 cheaper?

    • @ericpaz2854
      @ericpaz2854 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rapsodo is a good unit and on sale now since the new one came out. But the old rapsodo doesn’t have simulator functionality like the r10. The new one that’s about to come out however does.

    Agree with all your gouge. But, I did find the Garmin very finicky on setup…if it’s not perfectly aligned, it’s not giving you good data…which, if you are at home hitting into a net, is not an issue. But, on the range where you are hitting at targets in different areas, or hitting off of grass where your ball moves around, you need to keep adjusting it. The only alignment help is the little red line on it, which wasn’t helpful. To that, there are aftermarket setup helping aides that connect to the legs, etc., that are almost a must if you are going to the range with it…otherwise, I thought it was great. Given that most of the data is calculated, I returned it and went with the Mevo (not the plus) and love it…easy to use and set up and gives me what I need. Great review!
