What fuel burn? Last I checked AIR isn't classed as a fuel that burns ? Tell me more
The fan is turned by a shaft connected to a turbine. If the fan is lighter the amount of fuel it take to produce the energy required to turn the fan in lessened therefore improving fuel burn. Hope that helped
