If FLAM indeed made that VP Leni remark to subtly woo Kakampinks, then as a Kakampink, I am not totally swayed. I want 'resibo'-based governance as espoused by VP Leni, the reason why I voted for her. That said, I will support BBM in the good which he is doing esp. in regard to his policy in the West PH Sea. I did not vote for Digong either, in 2016. He is simply abhorrent. Controversial war on drugs/extrajudicial killings; targeting of political opponents; misogynistic remarks (esp. r^p3 jokes); corruption allegations; QuiboIoy association; and currently, his seditious calls to oust a sitting president/BBM---when will Digong get his comeuppance. This recent development from the ICC is thus welcome news.
U r overthinking the interview. Levi was brought up coz she was VP during du30’s term though VP levi was not shy and against the violent killing of alleged drug users without due process aka state sponsored ejk, leni was honorable enough not to stoop down and slander du30 publicly. You can compare this to pink candidate GUANZON (previous comelec commissioner) that publicly made a fool of herself when she was campaigning to disqualify marcos. Publicly slandering ur opponents without proof to win votes never works. There is a legal process in 🇵🇭 that folks need to follow rule of law if they intent to govern responsibly.
