Definitely an upgrade from the foam ones
Kontrolfreek precision rings only last about 50 hours on the left stick. It completely shredded itself and debris went inside the thumb stick case 😑 The right stick is still going after 70 hours. I use the rings on both sticks, personal preference. I just ordered the PlayVital ones now as I'm sure they are heaps better than the foam ones, like you mentioned.
I play siege, and i gotta say, on ps4, i don’t understand these rings at all. They are so stiff. Even when putting my sense up, it just does not make it usable
I didn't even know silicone rings was a thing. I've been using the Kontrolfreek ones, and you're right they aren't durable at all.
Yeah man, silicon is definitely the way to go. These things last forever and are just better overall tbh👌🏽
Did the Kontrol freek rings help your aiming at all?
How does the tension on the soft ones feel compared to the kontrolfreek precision rings? Hoping that they have less tension. Even the soft kontrolfreeks have too much tension imo.
The silicone ones have even more tension. Kontrol freaks are better imo
Actually, the left stick is where you want to put it for racing games. They are for whatever stick you need them for.
Precision rings aren’t normally used for racing games but I guess if they work for you then yeah, why not haha
might get some for rocket league just because when i turned up the tension on my elite 2 i felt so much more controlled

Nice video...they got new ones,just got them today they stretched better and top and bottom are different designs they looks like an UFO...1 side is harder than the other side
I have a question, would they work if i have long sticks? My opinion is they couldn’t work then. Do somebody tested it?

You should try them out, they can be quite helpful
I own these and two other brands of precision rings and I can say these are the best for the price and these last longer then the foam precision rings

I must have gone through atleast 15 of the foam ones and they last about a week each. Every day I have to change as in lower my sensitivities. I've just ordered these and will get them tomorrow. Hopefully they last longer.
Another good thing about the silicone ones over the foam is that no residue will get into the analog stick and cause stick drift
I stumbled across this video yesterday went to game stop and purchased these rings my aim down site shots is accurate. I play call of duty mobile with the controller. Thanks my confidence level is at a comfortable level now 👍

Will these help grinding against the housing ring of the analog sticks??
It will stop that grinding completely. That's the second reason I bought them. I noticed that the dualsense thumb stick creates dust and wear from the thumb stick constantly touching the housing. So annoying.

They aren’t necessarily a scam but there are definitely some that are better than others. It’s either a love them or hate them kind of thing.

Can you press the joysticks down comfortably (the L3 and R3 buttons) with these on or does it feel hard to get a solid click on the joystick?
They click easy, they just have resistance from side to side to help with your aim.
