Guns being rare in the story makes sense, actually. MHA takes place in Japan, where gun laws are already heckin strict and you need to pass a list of tests as long as a telephone pole to get a gun legally. Combine that with the fact that now humankind is overrun with naturally genetically enhanced people that made guns obsolete(and some of whom that actually have guns for fingers) and it makes a lot of sense that guns aren't really present in the story.

Ik it's been a while since you posted the comment but I agree. I think he was the first son of endeavor and for some reason endeavor hated him and either burnt him and ditched him, or Dabi couldn't control his fire, and either way the situation goes it turned his fire blue

Endeavor's whole thing was to create a perfect hybrid of his fire quirk and Rei's ice quirk through a quirk marriage to defeat All Might. So what I think happened there is that Touya did get a hybrid, just not in the way Endeavor wanted. Most likely, Touya had a body that was most suited to house an ice quirk, but he got a fire quirk instead and that seriously fucked him up in the long run. Especially since Touya's noticeably a lot smaller than Fuyumi and Natsuo even though he's older than them (well, older than Natsuo at least, as far as we know, I still think Touya was Fuyumi's twin because Dabi's estimated to be in his early twenties and it's important to take timing with canon ages into account), so his quirk most definitely had physical repercussions besides the horrific burns. And when Geten said that only those with the strongest quirks who had the ability to handle them should be able to rule the world, Dabi quickly turned murderous in contrast to how he was just defending and not really outright attacking Geten. A couple metas I've read have proved that Geten's ideals are pretty similar (not identical, mind you, but close enough) to Endeavor's. So if Dabi is Touya, who also trained with Endeavor despite his own quirk hurting him, and then being tossed aside in favor of Shouto, who has exactly the quirk Endeavor was looking for, Dabi has a pretty solid reason for being angry upon hearing Geten say that. And then there's Dabi saying both Shouto's and Endeavor's full names (he doesn't do this for anyone else, just the two Todorokis), and his obvious personal grudge against Endeavor, which is pretty self-explanatory and actually justified if Dabi really is Touya, because the Todoroki family life is kinda fucked. Anyways, I really could go on and on about this theory and why I think it's true in a lot more detail, but I've probably rambled long enough. This is already a wall and a half of text, so I'll just save the future meta for tumblr later.

The first Nomu at USJ was so strong because he was engineered to battle All Might. Each Nomu is different. Shigaraki released the Nomus in Hosu specifically to create pandemonium and was not allowed to use any of the extremely powerful Nomus. The one at the training Camp was released specifically to create a lot of fear and separate the students. That Nomu has an excessive amount of physical parts that really just ramp up his intimidation. It's plodding along with little to no sense of urgency, but he's certainly doing a good job of scaring the kids. Shigaraki does not really want to kill any of the students, he wants to disprove the ideology of heroes and close down UA. If he just wanted to kill off the kids, he could have easily had the vanguard attack and kill kids. Killing the students makes them a martyr. Kidnapping the kids and breaking their spirits, or by kidnapping them and recruiting them shows the public that UA isn't that great. Killing a kid that's fighting back just shows the kid was destined to be a great hero and had a tragic ending. Breaking the kid's spirit shows that heroes are just people that happen to be a little stronger. Society won't see them as demigods anymore, but will acknowledge that they are just people.

I'm interested in shigarakis development. As far as I know there isn't another villain who is as in need of development as the main hero. And when All Might and the pro heroes raided their hideout and took them all down in less than 5 minutes. Only for All for One to fuck it all up and basically save Shiggy ( short for Shigaraki lol) and the Vanguard Action Squad's butts from life in prison. Saving the series from getting dull in the future without the League of Villains crime organization expand.

In the manga? I haven't read it, but so far in the anime, the villains main achievement is capturing a schoolkid for 24 hours and then getting the crap kicked out of them, truly a terrifying force.

Also they’ve damaged one of the most prestigious school’s reputation in the eyes of the public. The terror that they’ve caused has resulted in society leaning more towards safety and protection oriented rather than freedom oriented. The school dorms were a prime example of that.

Guns weren't introduced with Mustard. They were introduced in the last episode of season one with the hero who's shtick was guns. He didn't have a gun quirk he had some kinda accuracy quirk called "Homing". He just happens to use guns.

If the problem really is that villians can't fit into society because of their looks, then it's a double tragedy that All For One is evil. He could take away the quirks/pain of those suffering from an unfortunate result of the genetic lottery. He could potentially be a more effective force for good than All Might, just by healing the unlucky.

Lixy Husky Mustard is younger than students of UA - he was wearing gakuran - middle school uniform. Also Snipe and Mustard are almost definitely not related - they have totally different quirks. If any teacher could be related to Mustard it would probably be Midnight - as they both have gas-based quirks. And actually it could be more possible for Snipe to be related to Magne, as they both have magnetic like abilities (Snipe controls route of his bullets).

So if Dabi is Touya, who also trained with Endeavor despite his own quirk hurting him, and then being tossed aside in favor of Shouto, who has exactly the quirk Endeavor was looking for, Dabi has a pretty solid reason for being angry upon hearing Geten say that. And then there's Dabi saying both Shouto's and Endeavor's full names (he doesn't do this for anyone else, just the two Todorokis), and his obvious personal grudge against Endeavor, which is pretty self-explanatory and actually justified if Dabi really is Touya, because the Todoroki family life is kinda fucked.
Anyways, I really could go on and on about this theory and why I think it's true in a lot more detail, but I've probably rambled long enough. This is already a wall and a half of text, so I'll just save the future meta for tumblr later.

The first Nomu at USJ was so strong because he was engineered to battle All Might. Each Nomu is different. Shigaraki released the Nomus in Hosu specifically to create pandemonium and was not allowed to use any of the extremely powerful Nomus. The one at the training Camp was released specifically to create a lot of fear and separate the students. That Nomu has an excessive amount of physical parts that really just ramp up his intimidation. It's plodding along with little to no sense of urgency, but he's certainly doing a good job of scaring the kids. Shigaraki does not really want to kill any of the students, he wants to disprove the ideology of heroes and close down UA. If he just wanted to kill off the kids, he could have easily had the vanguard attack and kill kids. Killing the students makes them a martyr. Kidnapping the kids and breaking their spirits, or by kidnapping them and recruiting them shows the public that UA isn't that great. Killing a kid that's fighting back just shows the kid was destined to be a great hero and had a tragic ending. Breaking the kid's spirit shows that heroes are just people that happen to be a little stronger. Society won't see them as demigods anymore, but will acknowledge that they are just people.

Guns weren't introduced with Mustard. They were introduced in the last episode of season one with the hero who's shtick was guns. He didn't have a gun quirk he had some kinda accuracy quirk called "Homing". He just happens to use guns.

If the problem really is that villians can't fit into society because of their looks, then it's a double tragedy that All For One is evil. He could take away the quirks/pain of those suffering from an unfortunate result of the genetic lottery. He could potentially be a more effective force for good than All Might, just by healing the unlucky.

Lixy Husky Mustard is younger than students of UA - he was wearing gakuran - middle school uniform. Also Snipe and Mustard are almost definitely not related - they have totally different quirks. If any teacher could be related to Mustard it would probably be Midnight - as they both have gas-based quirks.
And actually it could be more possible for Snipe to be related to Magne, as they both have magnetic like abilities (Snipe controls route of his bullets).
