From Odisha. I lived in Bangalore for 3 years post covid. It took me about 6 months to learn enough Kannada to be able to do all my talking in Kannada. For the life of me I can never understand why some people have a hard time learning the language. I think it was doable for me because I know Sanskrit well. Anyone who knows Sanskrit can learn any Indian language pretty fast.
