BUY THIS KIT! If you are a builder and love model kits, it is great. It’s not a figure. However it is a solid snap fit kit and holds up well to posing. Definitely great value for the money.
Man I really interested in this one mainly because it scales well with other SMP VOLTES V and Combatler V. SMP GOLION is really small, Golion should be slightly taller than VOLTES V and Combatler V and this Moderoid one absolutely nails the scale. I haven't built a Moderoid before that's why I'm still hesitate
DO NOT BUY THIS KIT. They absolutely ruined a perfectly good potential model with the decision to not allow the feet to transform. No other Voltron in history requires a lion foot replacement - and the ones that ship are COMICALLY oversized. This was a huge disappointment and an incredibly stupid decision by the designers - the model would have been absolutely fine and maybe a Top 10 of all time, but you can't use the oversized heads in Lion mode, and you can't transform the toy as-is without the swap or he won't stand. You CANNOT stand the figure without the head-swap. Save your money this is a HUGE disappointment.
@@IRobotdiMegalopoli It's not because of proportions - it's because they designed a model to require parts-swapping. No other toy, or part of this model, requires the heads to be swapped. Every version of the toy ever uses the lion heads in robot mode. This company designed the model to NOT WORK without changing the heads, and they hide this fact, they don't advertise it as required, and you never see pictures or images that it doesn't work. You don't know about this stupid design decision until after you purchase the model - so the designers made a bad decision, they hide it from customers, who waste their money thinking they are getting a fully transforming Voltron that doesn't work properly.

Hi, this is super easy to build, as in easier than the average smp, give it a try(plus not being super expensive helps :)
Great review!
One question. On the pictures of the instructions, the lion's weapons are coloured in the middle. The actual product, they're just grey?
Thanks, and yes (if you mean on the blade ) same for the weapon in lion form

Hi, uhm I think not buying because of the proportions of the feet is a bit harsh but well to each his own :)

@@albertpenello who cares? I'm not gonna play with it like a toy constantly transforming it
@albertpenello why are you so pressed about the parts swapping? It’s literally a model kit my guy and a damn good one…..relax
lol… I think your looking to far in to it. This model is great.
